I think the Aquarium was on one of the morning shows today... or sometime this week. I the otters!

This will be our first time. We've been to the Aquarium in Tenn a few times and really enjoyed it.

yeah - we know you're not watching the news (only movies) since Roger has gotten home!!!!
DS only gets Friday & Monday....the catholic schools don't get a 'winter' break - just two days....DSIL kids have the whole week off too so they're going on a cruise...not disney though


ahhh - i'm sure there are some along the way - the ones booked will be those closest to this attraction or that attraction...& of course rates can be a little higher....

Lastnight we watched American Idol and Big Brother

The funny thing is we were both at Wa-Mart. I went to grab some stuff in the grocery section and when we met up they were in the cart

haaaa....the mystery with my hair stylist is over...she had me down for 11:30 which never in 5 yrs have i ever gone before 4 pm....and the people answering her phone...well she's hired an answering service....they could have said they were Trendz Hair salon service...duh!!! OH WELL...all rescheduled & Emily is fine....

Okay it is now official.

There will be room in the van for two airplanes and also for me.

I guess that I will be leaving on Saturday morning for some time in the Miami area.

I think I will be gone from Feb 16th to approx the 26th or 27th.

That is a very long time to be away from home and also from you guys.

I'm gonna miss both places very much.

If I get the chance to check in while I'm gone I certainly will.

I'm gonna probably have to go hunting for another new thread by the time I get back home. You guys are such a chatty bunch

The day before we are scheduled to get home Alex is having all 4 of his wisdom teeth removed

He will have to survive thru it without his mommy there to hold his hand.

He will have his sister, his girlfriend and 2 grandmothers around town though, so I'm sure that he will be okay.

When I do ALT, it goes to my file tab, and if I push it again it will go back to where the curser was originally...
but it wont make the degrees that way....Maybe its just the way this PC is set up. ...

Happy Thursday! - a little to anyone who needs some today. Bright and sunny in my little corner today with the temperature hopefully climbing towards the 50 degree mark. My sister called and said "the little people (this is how we refer to the children as a group in my family) decorated some heart cookies for you and they want to know when they can bring them over.
In the news today: clothes that generate electricity when you move. Ok, so you throw one of these shirts on and go out for a run, working up a good sweat (not that I am familiar with such, but I understand it happens). Won't this violate the whole don't get electric things near water??
Also in the news: Brides are making their Bridesmaids sign agreements saying the will not gain weight OR get pregnant before the wedding. Huh?

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

I personally was awoken by the ringing telephone this morning (9:30 am ).

It was a flower store wanting to deliver flowers not to me but to Liz

Oh well, I had the alarm set to go off about 15 minutes later anyways.

I bought my own flowers yesterday

I'm wondering if I can get away with "smuggling" a rose across the border when I leave on Saturday Technically you are not supposed to bring plants but a cut rose is not a plant... not really.

Besides that van will be so packed with stuff, maybe the border guard won't notice the rose

Cally I need to keep away from too much food. I'll have to try to keep it under control while I'm away.

Betsy, with such a large group of grandchildren you must have a birthday to celebrate very very often. Have fun. How old is David now?? Must be about 6 or 7, I'm guessing?? Or do I have him confused with the other one, is his name Billy?

Interesting what brides think they can get away with these days. Not allowing their bridesmaids to do stuff.... especially since some people are engaged for a year or more before they get married.

I had a few tiny tears this morning.

In the mailbox was a large envelope. Inside the envelope was a card and a frame with Subway's name, his paw print and a nice "lock" of his hair. The card was signed by the people in the vets office.

What a nice surprise.

But I still have a ton of Subway hair in different places on my carpet that have not been vacuumed up yet He was really good at pulling it out and leaving me little piles wherever he had been sleeping

That was nice of the Vet's Office to send you one last hug from Subway.

Children? No. I am sort of the sterotypical "old maid" - almost 40, single (never married), a couple of cats.
However, my two younger sisters are married with eight chilren between them (good Catholic upbringing ). Seven nieces and one nephew with the oldest at eleven and the youngest just one year. For the record they are; Adriana (11 - Sis1), Michelle Catherine (10 - Sis2), Caitlin (8 - Sis2), Corin (8 - Sis1), Jillian (6 - Sis1), Nicholas (6 - Sis2), Mackenzie (3 - Sis2), and Sheridan (1 - Sis2). Fortunately my sisters had enough foresight to give birth to them all between the 1st of January and the 30th of March!

agghhhh - this could be a LONG time without you....i hope the friend with the LT understands the NEED & lets you borrow his!!!! You should try to find Ann while you're down there in the FL area...not sure how far she is from Miami...but you're closer there than you are now


Happy Valentine's Day everyone nothing exciting happening around here...DH has the flu & even though he is at work today...he'll come home more sick than when he left...but he's SOOOO busy ya know = he HAS to be there!!

Robin that is really nice of the Vet's office. We rec'd something from ours after our Niner passed away...but not a lock of his hair and now i wish i would have cut some of his gorgeous black spotted hair to keep.....

Michelle, that is a long list of mainly neices that you have there.

I have 5 in total, 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

They range in age from 31 to 15.

I have Blake (31), Jillian (19), Jessica (17), Jonathan (16) and David (15)

The J names all belong to one brother and the other two boys belong to my other brother.

Brenda Niner is absolutely beautiful. I can see how you must miss him a lot.

Here is one of the very last pictures that I took of Subway. It was right before we left for the cruise.

The guy that we are travelling with to Miami is Don from my cruise trip report.

He is a very nice guy and I'm sure that if I were to ask to use his laptop he would be more than happy to let me.

My dance teacher is leaving for Florida in the morning. If I get the chance I might give her a call when we are going thru Orlando. They are staying somewhere in Kissimmee.
