My Dad had been a lifeguard. I was one of those babies that just got thrown in the pool when I was 6 months old. Babies naturally swim. I don't have any recollection of learning to swim, I just always knew how. My first formal lesson was actually when I was taking my lifesaving class.

Of course, this is the story my parents told me. Maybe they were just trying to get rid of me, but it didn't work!

Isn't it neat. I wish I had access to a pool when my boys were still young. Although Dante taught himself to swim at around 5 yrs old. DeV is still learning.

I just think it's so neat how the baby turns around on his back and starts crying in the water...

I think I killed off a new clique thread yesterday That takes some speshul brand of thread killing fu...killing a clique thread...obviously I belong here. I've hooked this thread up to a life support machine as a pre-emptive measure.

These last three months I really haven't been too cooped up, but when I go shopping I avoid door handles and don't really touch much for fear of germs. I totally need to do the same at school. I forget how many different people have touched what I have to touch~
