morning all.

Now Betsy, I wouldn't say that we out ate Rick, he probably ate more than we did :p But he didn't eat any dessert.

Betsy, no rocking chairs at the Golden Corral. We broke with tradition and didn't eat at Cracker Barrell ;)

Well, I'm off to check out breakfast at the hotel here. Our room is absolutely gorgeous and we got a great rate of $79.00. Someone didn't program the website properly and we were given the Easter special rate instead of the normal rate of $132.00 a night. We weren't complaining though :smooth:

Be home later tonight. Have a good day everyone.

ZJO Threadkillers!

It's been a while.....It was a wonderful Easter weekend! We had lots of family in to see DN and DBIL get baptized, confirmed & have their first communion. It was heart-warming and beautiful. I didn't get to sit with the family, but I did get to sing for them! Tinknutt hosted a fabulous Easter feast...she's awesome! SWHNN was a one person cheering section when I was singing! I couldn't ask for better sisters!

Kim & Cruisin - I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt Pat, Robin. I was thrilled to hear that you and Kim were able to get together! Ya'll have vacations coming up VERY soon!

This weekend, we fly to California to see our new grandbaby. The next weekend it's off to WDW!

Ophie & TZM - I'm glad to hear you are both on the mend. I understand about being busy - but glad you took the time to post!

Cally - Congrats on your 100%! It's always nice to bring a good report card home....at any age, right?!

Betsy - your Easter feast sounded yummy!

TW - Any flowers blooming?

It's late, so I gotta scoot! Nighty night my threadkiller friends!

Hey y'all! Remember me? Just thought I'd pop in and say hello and share some pics from my trip this past January. :wave2:

Hi Ann! Bye Ann!

Where's Robin? :confused3 She should be home by now :moped: - she's an hour ahead of me. :rotfl: (She'll understand) :teeth:

Ayup! Lotsa Blooms around the yard :thumbsup2

My purple irises are blooming and my red and yellow tulips. The daffodils are done. My red azalia bush is also getting buds on it.

I find the darker colors bloom first. With the irises, I'll get purple, then yellow, then white. Same with the azalias, the lighter the color the longer it takes to bloom.

I have white lilys in the living room from easter, I never realized how strong of a smell they had before now. Beautiful smell, just strong.

Beautiful shots Kevin!

I am truly impressed with your photography. I have to ask, what do you use?

I'm here Kim

Hubby had some serious dental work done today and I took the night off from work to spend time with him. He's asleep now so I'm checking up and checking in.

Am I the ONLY one not going to WDW?!?!?!?

I expect lotsa pictures! Learn how to use those cameras you all carry. And I'd like a postcard or two, pretty please...send me a little magic from the world you guys :tink: pixiedust: :earboy2:

Hi Colleen!!

BTW, do you mind that I still have your guidebook? I'm going through it a 2nd time....maybe 3rd......... :teeth: (You should see all the bookmarks I have in it!) Thanks again!

ROBIN!!!!! Are you home yet?! :confused3 It's getting late.

I will attest to the amount of bookmarks she has in that book, Colleen. I saw it ;)

Here I am Kim, home all safe and sound.

Actually we didn't end up leaving Chicago until almost 4 o'clock (your time :smooth: ) Rick's meeting this morning ran long and then we had to go and look at that machine, so we were quite late in getting home.

We avoided travelling very far on the 294 though so we missed a ton of traffic coming from 95th Street area. :woohoo:

We actually made great time. Leaving around 4 pm, stopping for almost an hour for dinner and home by 10:30 or so (your time, again)

Great pictures Kevin and so very nice to see you and your friends too.

Cally I'm glad you liked the postcards. When I saw the fishing one I thought it was meant for your guys. I actually got them free last summer from our local provincial park. Took me awhile to send them out though :p

Kim, you can start packing if you like. Why not :woohoo:

Ann, sounds like you have some fun times planned. Where are you planning on going for your Disney trip this time?

Hi Colleen, your flowers are quite a bit ahead of ours, although the leaves are really starting to come out on the trees.

Welcome Home, Robin!

Maybe it had something to do with the time of day you were travelling :confused3

We got really lucky and the longest traffic jam was at the toll both for the 80 toll road.

I pointed out to Rick the Cracker Barrel that we ate at in Battle Creek and the Ramada Inn we stayed at too :teeth:

:confused3 Don't know for sure but he made an appropriate response :lmao:

About 1/2 hour down the road HE pointed out an Outback Steak House that he ate at once :rotfl:

Fair is fair I guess! ;) (At least he heard you!) :rotfl:

You must be tired. Or, getting a second wind? :confused3

Yup, I guess he must listen to me sometimes ;)

Actually yes I'm tired, it's been a long day. It's hard to travel in the dark on roads that you are not familiar with.

So I'm thinking I better call it a day/night :confused3

Talk to you again soon Kim. I'm so glad that we got the chance to get together again.
