Sorry to hear about Aunt Pat, Robin. Love & {{HUGS}} to you and your family. You know what BP would say, Heaven has a new angel, and we know her name.

As for stores today Robin, everything was open as usual. Sunday is only slightly different, with shortened hours maybe and some closures. Restaurants are usually open, it's a BIG day for Easter brunches and lunches. I'm actually trying to remember if this is ONE of the maybe 2 holidays that McDonald's even closes? Or, is it Cmas and Tksgivng? Not that I'm going to McDonald's Sunday!

Kelly coloured eggs today <noted......but we put off baking until tomorrow. It was HOT in the house today, but lovely outside.

I need to do some catching up.............

Restaurants will definitely be open on Sunday and probably were today but I didn't go to any, so I'm not 100 percent sure on that.

Easter brunches and lunches are very popular here too.

I know what you mean about it being warm in the house. Our house heats up very quickly. The furnace has not run for days and I have had windows open too.

It was lovely outside here today too but I didn't actually get out to enjoy it much. Tomorrow we are expecting a high in the mid 70's and no chance of rain, so I'm going to get out for sure. In between kitchen demolition of course.

Well Ive gotten all my Easter shopping done yesterday...and Yes Robin Everything was open and hopping!...The crowds were like Christmas time....
UNBELIEVEABLE

Its cooking for me today....Lamb stew...among alot of other stuff...including boiling and coloring eggs....

It is very nice outside already, in the high 50s at 7 am .....we are supopose to go into the 70s here too...I hope they are right...

I got a few more cabinets off the walls in the kitchen today.

My parents were over and my dad helped me take the empty ones down.

The kitchen is getting emptier all the time.

Not much happening here tonight. Liz is out and the rest of us are in three different corners of the house

Feels like snack time though.

We just had some popcorn

and I'm watching The Replacements on tv. I've been cleaning for two days now, I think I need a break from it...

I shampooed the living room rug, bathed Penny (again), cleaned (really cleaned) the bathroom and doing laundry all just today.

I think I'm gonna hop into a nice HOT bubble bath and relax for awhile~

Today, I'm starting to feel the crunch of Monday and Tuesday for a Chicago trip, leaving Saturday morning for 10 days away in Florida and getting the kitchen ready to go

Oh well, I'm keeping busy anyways.

The boys had an egg hunt in the backyard...I had to hold Dante back because he is so darn fast!! He was getting all the eggs DeVaughn was just amazed to find one egg, he would stop and admire it for a while, while Dante ran around like speedy gonzales but in the end it all worked out. They even managed to get the same amount of money. We put $$ in some of the plastic eggs. I think they had a good time...
