hey TKers!

a very merry chritmas to you all!

I am currently loading Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas music on to my new iPod!!!!!! Yay!

(to the person who asked: I go to washington township high school in south jersey..where i study acting...and lots of it..its my first class of the day. My test this week was and improvision with a tree. So i acted like a little girl who found "my size belle" on chritmas morning..it was pretty funny!)

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to send a bright Merry Christmas to all my threadkiller friends - who make the holidays SO special! I'm about 10 pages behind, but I had to post and plan to catch up later!

Tinknutt may not post....she volunteered to work at the hospital so those with small children could be home. She's special, isn't she?

Threadkillers....your friendship has truly made my year! Thanks for all the love and support through out the year!

All the best - Ann, Tom and Hollydog

I guess that I really do belong on the Threadkillers Thread.

I killed Santa Claus's thread :earseek:

I guess I know which list I will be on NEXT year :guilty:

We are heading off soon to Christmas with my family.

Kim ~~ how are you doing? I've been thinking about you today. I have on my Santa socks that I got in my SS package :teeth:

Hi everyone was doin gthe tree yesterday

~uraken :wizard:

Okay - I THINK I'm caught up! I read it backwards - which was kind of cool! I started at the last post and went back....

I'll probably miss stuff - cuz I didn't write anything down, but here goes!

Kim - You and all of the threadkillers are in my heart today. I admire you greatly for sacrificing some of your day to do what is right for your kids. I hope you're having a nice, relaxing day.

BrerPapa - thank you for keeping track of Santa for us (hmmmmmm....I guess I had a tickle in my throat, too..... :invisible ink: I know your DISguise! :/end invisible ink: I loved the bald angel story - thanks for sharing!

Robin - OMG! A Mini! How cool! I can't imagine how thrilled you must be. Especially if that certain someone isn't a huge gift buyer - it's a twofer! I missed the parade this morning, but the History Channel has something on at 8pm in our area - "Modern Marvels - behind the scenes of the Magic Kingdom". Guess what I'm watching tonight?

Cally - Glad Roger made it back safely. I imagine your Christmas is extra special this year. Please thank Roger again from all of us tkers - we sure do appreciate him keeping us safe so we can enjoy the day!

Princess Ariel - SO glad you're posting with us again! I'm glad you're up-and-about and working (not necessarily on Christmas Day, but still glad you're up!). As for the thong.....I think I may have to pass on that one, but it's the thought that counts. We DON'T want to think of me in a thong, tho!

Uraken - sounds like you had a fun Christmas! How long do you get off of school? Did you have a white Chrismtas!

Belle - sounds like you've got a great class schedule! How are the rehearsals going? Do you have a break for Christmas?

Tinknutt - I had an awesome time last night! We just had your DH and DS over for left-overs for lunch. They're headed out to the movies now. You are such a great sister and I know that those who could go home to be with family are so grateful. Hugs to you!

Colleen - are you on the ship yet? I bet you're having an AWESOME time! How's the food? How's the tummy being on the boat? Did they do extra special stuff for Christmas? I'm SO excited for you! Loved visiting with you!

TKerbelle - Merry Christmas! I'm glad your party was a success! How's the Christmas going so far?

Well, this has been a lazy day for us. We were up til 3:30 getting the dishes done from the dinner before Midnight Mass. So, we slept til around 9:30. Santa left some wonderful gifts for us under the tree (thanks BP - oops - I mean Santa!). We went out to b'fast and then took a nap! Then we had leftovers for dinner as I made an entire Christmas dinner yesterday! I told DH my one priority was to catch up and post with my Tker friends!

Ya'll really mean the world to me - and my heart is warmed just by standing in the glow of your friendship.

Merry Christmas!

Ooh! They make those now....but you're planning on a vintage mini...right? It will be SO cool!

I just finished the show on WDW's engineering marvels...it was awesome! I'm SO tired I'm headed to bed!

Nighty-night threadkillers!

Yes, it will definitely be an older Mini. I have no idea what year or what model. We will see what comes along at the right price.

I will be so cool. I can't wait.

I'm tired too. Christmas takes a lot of energy  I'll probably go to bed early. We have a full day tomorrow.

Wow, looks like everyone was on the Nice list this Cmas. ;) Many thanks to our 'connection'. :goodvibes

I have to TRY and describe the most beautiful gift I got today, thanks to Kelly's teacher..........She had the kids place their hand in white paint, transfer the handprint to a round blue ornament so that the palm was on the bottom, and the 5 fingers were upright, made into snowmen (my FAVE winter collectible), and Kelly hand-decorated each finger snowman! It came with a wonderful story about how it wasn't just 5 snowmen, but her hand, at its size at this time, with her name and 2005 written. A TRUE keepsake!

Equally fave gift, not playing faves ;) - was the pair of ice cube snowmen/Cubs earrings that DS got me!!! I told him about this pair that Kelly's teacher had, and he found them for me! :goodvibes Wore them all day today! :teeth:

Well, a couple other nice things happened today. DS ended up staying with us until the mid-afternoon. :goodvibes And DD never left! :goodvibes Her dad came over in the morning for gift-opening, and never mentioned taking her, so I asked if he wanted to stay and eat or, if he was leaving. He stayed and we watched the Bears ALMOST lose to the Packers. It was an easy pot roast dinner. ;) He left after the game, and Kelly & I watched ELF! :teeth:

Tomorrow, Kelly & I hit the stores with all our gift cards for 50% off!!! :cheer2: I already shopped online at Yankee Candle! :rolleyes1

My hand/wrist/arm are slightly improved. I expected more progress I guess with the steroids. :confused3 If it's not healed in about 48 hours, I'll have to call, because the steroids will be gone. My wrist is the biggest problem, no real strength yet. :confused3

Well, I'm off work this week, but we have something everyday! Including DSs 18TH BD on Sat., New Year's Eve!!! We're all just hoping right now that he doesn't have to work that day! :guilty:

Weather report from today, here in Chicago.......Kelly got a new Schwinn bike for Cmas, and actually rode it OUTSIDE this afternoon, for a short time. :teeth: Not toooooo :cold: here! :cool1:

Have a Great post-Cmas/pre-New Year week everyone! :grouphug: And, let's work on next year's Nice List! :teeth: :goodvibes :cheer2:

 Thank you ALL! :grouphug:

 Kim, I'm glad that your Christmas Day turned out better than you expected it to.

I'm glad Kelly got to ride her new bike too.

We had rain almost all day long :umbrella:

Today is another busy day for us. We have to go to Ricks parentst his morning 10:30/11 for lunch and gift opening and then to his extended family around 3 for dinner. Won't be my most favourite day but I'll survive ;)

Then it's free and clear until vacation. :cheer2: Time to start thinking about what I need to bring with me. :earboy2:

Have a good day TKers.

Good Morning all,
Just a quick hello...gotogo :moped:

Hey Neighbor!

We live in Burlington County NJ! Not sure how far we are from each other but I'm sure it's not far at all :)

Ann didja get my PM???

I hope everyone had a Happy Christmas! The food is decent for the adults but the kids say it has a bit to be desired...actually Stef said it "sucks"...sorry for the bluntness. If you are into crablegs and lobster and creme brule it's good, if you're looking for a good burger...:confused3

My vegetarian Brittany found that they do have good veggie burgers tho :)

I'm trying to catch up before dinner...

We were topside when that pic was taken

Got onboard about 1, Mom's a repeat cruiser (castaway cay club member) so check in was quite easy...we went right to Parrot Cay for lunch, I had fried shrimp and veggies. We went topside to find our DISer friends and managed to find quite a few.

Hearing the horn was truly magical and we were moving immediately afterwards. Verandah Man posted alot of pictures of our sailaway on the christmas cruisin meet thread, you all should check em out :)

Santa found us, the girls and Mom were happy with their presents. John sent a gift with me with the promise that I wouldn't open it til Christmas...it was a beautiful gold and diamond mickey necklace, I wore it for formal night last night and have it on right now :teeth:

AKL was awesome, the girls thought I was nuts booking it for the one night but were very happy that I did. I hit the hottub first, it was a bit cool out but not too cold for the hot tub. The air was so cool that the pool had a constant cloud coming off of it with the temperature difference between the air and the water.

We got upgraded to pool view, not savannah but very nice. Nan (nskjerven) had concierge and we spent some time up there with her. We hit DTD for a bit, the girls did Disney Quest and Mom wound up at Epcot and DTD that day.

We had breakfast, 14 of us, at Boma's before leaving for Port Canaveral. These people I've met are almost as wonderful as all of you ;)

I'm headed to dinner now and we go to St Maarten tomorrow so TTFN and LYMI!

TTYSoon, ~colleen~
