Taking a break from catching up also...........

Today was a wonderful day! Kids got lots of great stuff they asked for (Lists are a HUGE help!), and my family was very generous. My poor brother tho, LOST ALL the various gift cards he bought, so he was handing out CASH telling everyone which store they were supposed to spend the cash at! We all told him we'll buy the gift cards back from him, if he finds them, because they're for stores and restaurants he never visits.

Medical update: I started feeling a pinched nerve tonight in my neck and shoulder, and my Mom thinks that as the medicine is working, and the inflammation is going down, that maybe I'm feeling it now. Trouble is, my hand isn't much better yet. My family got a kick outta watching me tho. And the loopiness started tonight. I forgot my PURSE at my parents. Took all the presents, left my purse. And my mind has been declining since then. Previously I said I didn't think my family would notice, but Matt did! He's the one who went back for my purse!

Ok, back to catching up, and Santa will be here ANY minute! I KNOW IT! Because I'm about to fall asleep if he doesn't!

I have some straw and hay bales awaiting on the roof....some carrots and some water for the reindeer....

meanwhile....the wings are thawed and the meatloaf is sliced.....top that off with a glass of milk and a plate of cookies and Santa will get a quick but good rest....

Kelly spread Magical Reindeer Dust on the front lawn tonight, and left a brownie, cookie, 8 carrots, a candy cane and milk.

Wow, I loved the Princess Segment in front of the Castle. That was absolutely wonderful.

Aren't all of those little princesses and princes just the sweetest. The look of wonder on their faces is amazing. I sure hope that I have some grandchildren so that I can see that again.

Love those Brer buddies though and can't wait to go and visit them again. Can't say that I'm real fond of that last drop though.

he was in a band in the 80;s called the Stray Cats....

they did the 'Stray Cat Strut'.....

he's an excellent guitar player...and usually plays a full-body Gretsch guitar with the f-hole cutouts...a beautiful instrument....
