Roger really likes dungeness king crab legs ( I do too ) so we bought some in Savannah and brought them home. We steamed them tonight.

Kids had chicken fingers and macaroni and cheese. I also made vidalia onion dip to snack on.

Since noones home tonight, I'm gonna hop over to the Disney store. With the towels being only $5.99 I'm gonna go see if I can get a couple for the beach.

I already have mine, I got the double wide Hawaiian Mickey/Minnie towel for myself.

and maybe another antenna topper...from now on I think I'll keep my special ones inside and the plain color/store bought ones on the outside.

Wish we had a Disney store around here. We use to have one in the Macon mall but that was still a 30min drive away.

So what all did you buy?

I had fast food, blech!

My nearest Disney store is a 20-30 minute ride, depending on traffic.

I bought four towels, two Nemo (they have Bruce on them too) and two Kim Possible towels. They didn't have a great selection left-only those two and Lizzie and Buzz.

and I got a Nemo antenna topper for my explorer. He's a duplicate of one we already have, Britt has the other one in her room.

Oh did I mention we traded in our Explorer a couple of weeks ago?

Roger has been talking about trading in the Eclipse because of the broken air conditioner and he wanted to get a pick up truck. But when we went car shopping we found a Tahoe that we fell in love with. It has 3 rows of seats so plenty of room for the boys. We have been putting them all the way in the back row and it has been great!

I have my red/white/blue mickey topper on it right now! And I did put my winnie the pooh mats and steering wheel cover on it!

Well we still have the Eclipse and took it to the shop..it's going to cost $600 to fix!!!!!!!!! I think we are going to wait and shop around.

AC can be a costly repair, but you're right about shopping around, hopefully you find someone a little less expensive.

I like the idea of having nemo on for our beach trip. The antenna toppers really do help me find my car in parking lots. That why I knew Mickey was mising, I didn't find him while looking for my car Oh well, I'll get another one over Christmas.

Hey that's a good idea having nemo on for your trip. I like changing my toppers out for certain occassions too!

Why do people have to steal our toppers?!?!?!?! I haven't had that happen to me yet but I'm preparing myself just in case.

No I don't regret trading in the explorer instead of the eclipse. Although I loved the explorer I was glad to get a bigger vehicle. We don't need 2 gas guzzlers... Roger is the one that drives the eclipse to work and we use the bigger vehicle to go places with the kids and family. So Roger is the one w/out AC..

But we are still going to shop around and hopefully find a better deal.

I started a collection of toppers

this is the second one I've had stolen from me. My complaint- "these people are too lazy to spend three dollars for themselves. "

The store had alot this time...they had purple, orange, yellow, blue, green, the incredibles, nemo, and the cuties collection-Mickey, minnie, pooh and eeyore. I was too worried about losing the cuties, didn't like the colors, so nemo won!

I just started collecting toppers last October on our MNSSHP trip. I was thinking of a good way of displaying the toppers inside the vehicle like that one girl who posts on the dis has in her car.

Right now I have 15 toppers and they are all mine!!! And THAT still in not enough!

I collect pins too, money's gotta be spread around fairly eh? <---noted

I don't trade the pins tho, just collect them.

I found that the toppers fit on top of pencils if you want something simple to put them on...you just have to come up with what to put them in.

Britt wants the computer-she was at Ozzfest all day, met another band...

Saw one of "Bam's Crew" Rake Yohn and his bro at the show, and realized after he walked away that she had been standing next to a guitarist from Rob Zombie's group.

They had a good day, a hot one, but a good one...

TW - Sounds like you had fun at the Disney Store. My sister got into the joys of pin trading our last trip to WDW! I don't know if she'll do much in Sept, but she liked it for the F-U-N. She doesn't have it in her to be a pin shark. She only trades for ones she thinks are "cute".

Anyone heard from Kim & Robin yet? I'm so excited to hear how it was with them meeting! Kkiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmm???? Rrrrooooooobbiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnn? Are you home yet?

Well Im pretty much back to normal....and for me normal aint normal ..
but I have most of my pieces put back together....The "star" was passed back to me,( THANKS for looking after everyone for me BP...You did a great job!!) Sooo Im officially the law again...I promise not to make anyone eat McNuggets ...Not unless they want to anyway !

Colleen....I just got five ATs to add to my collection...The minnie, the nemo(hes so cute), Stitch.....,Pooh...and the new one with the gold ears....Im not sure if Ill put them out or not....I dont have a Disney store to replace them...although I am going to WDW again next year.... By the way Hope your trip is fun, with sunshine the whole time!

We tried to get into pin collecting in 2002. We got all the main pins like a 2003 pin, MK pin, MGM pin, Epcot pin, AK pin.. then we started on the rides like TOT pin, RRC pin, Test Track pin..etc... Then we got a resort pin ...

The following year when we went back to Disney we didn't want to spend a million dollars on pins again so we just got the year pin and the resort pin where we stayed at...and bought Dante and DeVaughn a pin

So we do the same every year...we get the year we are there pin and the resort we are staying at pin...

Oh this year we got Dante a birthday pin..it had minnie and mickey on it and says "It's my birthday" it is cute...

I also have all the princess pins.. a mickey and tigger pin...

And as if I don't have enough things to collect I have shot glasses!!!

I have all the park shot glasses and a few ride shot glasses...but I also collect shot glasses from different places..

Roger brought me back a few shot glasses from overseas...

Oh and did I mention I collect postcards too?

Oh I forgot to mention...Ann the new car we got is actually not new.. It's used a couple of years old.

But I love it....they cleaned it up real good

Cally: You and I do sooo much the same it's uncanny...we collect shotglasses too! My favorite is probably the etched 100year anniversary shotglass John bought in the giftshop under the castle. I am almost as choosy about the postcards as I am about the pins. I tend to collect anniversary stuff and Mickey stuff.

and about your car...new is new...I have NEVER had a brand new car but I truly enjoy the ones I do have. We've gotten pretty lucky where we find used vehicles that look and feel new. We shop around alot before actually buying.

The Pins I collect tend to be cute yet unique.

Betsy: 5 new AT's!?! Wow! The gold ears is on my list of must haves and now I need to get a new fantasia mickey and I;m getting the Captain Mickey on the cruise.

I forgot BP put you's all in the hoosegow! I got my get outta jail free card for helping PA out with an afgan design
