Hiya Threadkillers!

Well DD & DGS left to go back to Orlando. Then DH and I headed straight for a nap! That grandson of ours wore us out!

Kim - I hope the picnic was fun. I don't think if you gathered my entire family we could get 100 people! That's a BIG family!

Robin - I'm glad your computer is back and working.

Cally - How far apart are we? I recon you and I are less than 2 hours....am I right?

Spent the day with my parents.

We went to an antique store looking for novelty salt & pepper shakers for the salt & pepper exchange and then we went for a drive.

Ended up at the local slot machine casino. I came home with .25 cents more than I went in there with. I played for a while and then decided to put aside the money I originally started with and just play with the winnings. Somehow I miscounted and ended up 25 cents richer

Tons and tons of cool old salt and pepper shakers around. Lots of them I didn't want to pay the price for but I found others that weren't priced too badly.

Lot of cool stuff to look at in the antique stores. I like that stuff.

Ann Four hours apart is not a big deal at all. 2 hours drive each. You could meet for lunch very easily I think with that distance.

Well I think we have got our dates down for our next tripto WDW.....Its going to be May 9th-17th....My DS is going to go too, but she will fly and meet us down there.....and be visiting with her DD and DGS...for a day or two also.....So its still going to be a "just the adults" trip....

So Ill have to find the countdown timers again......I cant seem to remember where to get them....

Anyway you all have a great day.....and Ill be checking in later to see whats up with everyone!......

By the way you were ALL slacking last night......Everyone must have been busy....I've gotten everything read with my first couple of sips of coffee....had to go to the NEWS for entertainment .....

Thanks for the offer on the Salt & Pepper shakers. I have a nice little collection of them and I'd love to add to it.

Plans for today.....

try to do the things that I should have done on the weekend and didn't

It is sort of a holiday here today. No mail, banks are closed but lots of businesses are still open (for example , ours!) It is a civic holiday but not a required by the government holiday like Christmas, Labour Day etc. So it is up to each business to decide for itself whether it is a holiday or not. This year there is too much work to do at our shop to take the time off.

Hi everyone missed the sunrise and early discussion, trying to catch up with those ZZZZZ'z (still haven't caught them though) .
Feel like a train wreck after working those nights.....maybe, getting to old for this.

Our trip (HA, older sis, me) a little over one month away and then watch out WDW....

DSon (is he S or sister S), is off today so will probably hang with him. Go to the gym and have lunch. (Work it off, put it back on)

Okay, so I decided to work up some energy and finally wash the kitchen floor. It's a big event for me

I move all the furniture, sweep, generally get prepared.

Go to put the new mop head on the mop

I bought the wrong mop head

Shoot now I have to go out and get another one which means that I should shower and dress properly

Maybe I don't really want to wash the floor today anyways

My son called me yesterday and said that he treated his first case of a severe allergy with anaphylaxis. Tinknutt,in case you don't know, my son is a nurse, right now working the summer at a summer camp. He also has an anaphylactic allergy to peanuts himself which he has never had to treat with Epipens before, although he carries them with him at all times.

He was quite excited about this poor kid and his reaction The kid had never had a reaction like that to a bee sting before.

We did our school supply shopping on Saturday. It was tax free weekend but it still cost us. We have our youngest starting school this year so we had to buy double the supplies.

Since we bought everything he has been wearing his backpack around the house. It's so cute.
