I'm just hanging around here.

Got some laundry sorted and started.

Did I tell you guys about the stethoscope covers I made for Alex?

Well, I got a call from a lady last night who saw Alex's covers and wanted to know if I would make 8 of them for her . She told me to think about it and let her know how much I wanted for them.

I'm not sure if I'm interested in starting a stethoscope cover business but I called her back and said I would make them for her. She plans on giving them to employees as an end of the summer gift.

So tonight, I guess I had better start sewing

Ophie - good luck on the move. I LOVE moving. With DH in the military for 35 years, it was a good thing I did. You get rid of all the stuff you don't use and get a clean start in a new home. Now that we've retired, I try to go through my stuff on a fairly routine basis and get rid of clutter. DH just went through a bunch of old files and shred, shred, shred!

Want to come help me? I'd like this move better if I hadn't been forced into it and if I was moving to a nicer place. But no, I'm moving to a worse place, by myself, and I'll have to pay more each month. And it wasn't my idea. Sorry, not happy.

Fishies, fishies everywhere around here

Beta fish on the kitchen counter (next to the microwave ~~ science experiment )

A hundred or so guppies, and a couple other assorted fish in the tank in the living room (darn those guppies are MUCH too friendly )

About 20 fish in the fishpond in the backyard.



I don't know about Alex and kids. His girlfriend is the oldest of 7 kids and I'm not certain she is real eager to have any of her own. I'm sure that will change (or at least I'm hoping so).

Actually I am very much looking forward to having grandchildren. Not too quickly mind you but hopefully in the next 10 years
