By the way you were ALL slacking last night......Everyone must have been busy....I've gotten everything read with my first couple of sips of coffee....had to go to the NEWS for entertainment .....

Kim busy with her family reunion,

the boards being down last night (at least for me they were)

it HAS been really quiet around here lately.

I was thinking that too when Dante started school but he loves school!!! I hope DeVaughn is the same way. Of course Dante is the brains in the family we'll see how DeVaughn does. We had to get him tested for Kindergarden and out of 100 questions he got 95 right so I guess he is headed in the right direction.

School starts this Friday!!! Lastnight we started putting the kids to bed at 9. It was still kind of light out. Very weird...the summer is young but seems like they will be going to school during the summer.

It's too hot to go to school here during the summertime.

Our schools generally do not have any air conditioning in them, so May/June and September sometimes even are not that pleasant for being inside hot schools.

I'm glad to hear that your boys are doing so well with school. That's always a plus.

It is not easy without airconditioning in the schools.

It gets extremely hot. In the younger years sometimes parents will bring in freezies and popsicles and that type of stuff to cool the kids off a bit.

Mostly they just have to grin and bear it and dream of the day that schools close for the summer.

That is pretty much why we don't have year round schooling here. They would have to equip all the schools with airconditioning in order to do it and that would be a really big expense.

That's true I can still go back to school but actually I have been thinking a lot about becoming a real estate agent. I looked up some schools in this area. The next one is in Sept but I will not be able to do it because Roger is being deployed again!!!!!!!!! So maybe when he gets back. He will be back the 2nd week of December. He will miss Thanksgiving.

Yes, unfortunately he is being deployed again. He is going to the same place. Not Iraq but still doesn't help that he will be flying over Iraq every other day.

Busy day at work (I know - every day is busy). Tomorrow is our evening quarterly staff meeting, so I won't be on the boards.

Tonight, DH and I went to Lowes and bought some curtains for the bedroom. Ours (he says) weren't dark enough. Holly dog shivers and shivers in tinknutts dark bedroom and bed time - she'll probably be okay, tho. We'll see!

Anyway, it's quiet here and I'm gonna get off-line to spend time with my hunnybunny!
