It could be a coincidence that I post when Ophie is on. Maybe not. Usually we talk about stuff that is out here so I post. Otherwise, I read a lot of posts. As evident by my post count, I do not usually post much unless I have something to contribute. I am getting better at just spouting off on stuff.

Btw.. congratulations on 700!!

It was nice to see them get such a kick out of their dad. He said it was the first time he had ever taken his kids on a vacation (they were 13 and 16) and that they were having soo much fun.

Absolutely! I hate seeing babies and/or kids overdressed in the heat, even in the cold. There's no need for it. Trust me, those parents probably paid dearly for overheating their kids, at the price of extreme crabbiness on the kids' part, at the very least.

I heard some nasty parents yesterday at the park but I also heard a few very nice comments. I heard several parents praising their children, telling them how good they had been, how well things had gone, how brave they were for riding all those rollercoasters. It was a very nice change.

Awww, that IS a nice change. Way too often we hear the angry parents, yelling at their kids, telling them to stop crying, etc.! What do they expect when they set out for the day, ALL DAY, with toddlers?! These kids probably have a nap (or 2) everyday while at home, but they're expected to kick it up a notch, like us adults, and Be Good! Geesh.

Sorry to hear how stressful work is, Ann. Hope it gets better. Well, it's not 1am here either! It's not even midnight yet. Of course by you, that's another story. Maybe I should find another on-going thread that happens in CST?!?!? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............................NOT!!!!!!!! You're stuck with me.

Very busy again this week. Of course, jury duty and shopping on Monday, Tuesday was our off day, but ended up going to a wake in the evening. Today we had the Cubs game, huge disappointment on several levels. Tomorrow we're meeting my cousin and her 3 kids at Kiddieland, we usually leave when the place throws us out. LOL Friday, Kelly has a friend spending the day with us while her Mom works. Sat & Sun we have no 'plans', but we have 'things to do'. Neverending.
