Oh well..every rose has its thorns (and rose hips)...and after the bloom goes away.. thats all there is...thorns and (in my case) HIPS......BIG HIPS :rotfl:

Its my Thursday lunch day....I get to have my yummy chicken salad...and I have a few stops to make befor I come back home...

So I hope you all have a great day.... :wave2:

OMG! Tooooo funny!!

I couldn't come up with a top five. I could just think of the one who's always on the list. Plus I didn't want to be repetitive. How many times can you list certain people? And I didn't want to say "So-and-so as this character that he played 10 years ago" or whatever. You know? I picked someone who's always fabulous looking! ;)

Tarzanman... (sheesh, that is long... have we shortened it? Would TZM work, hun?) Anyway, Tarzanman managed to narrow his list to 5. Somehow... dunno how he pulled it off. I'm sure the list overflows out into neighboring rooms. :p

Well... Happy Thursday all!! (It is Thursday isn't it?)

Oh! It IS Thursday... the 11th!! Hey! That's special!! One month ago today was when Tarzanman and I started talking!! :Pinkbounc :wizard: :Pinkbounc

What's on my schedule today Betsy?

I don't know but a nap sure sounds good right now :rotfl2: I'm tired all of sudden for some reason. Must have been that shower that did me in. :teeth:

Nay, actually, I'm going to offer my mom a couple of movies we rented and then go to work to see if I need to clear off my desk some.

Still want that nap though :cat:

Hey oph. A special anniversary already! How nice for you guys. ::yes::

I see you have a countdown to another WDW visit. Lucky you :)

Hey Cally.

Isn't tonight prime watching time for the meteor showers??

It's supposed to rain here for the next few days, so I guess that I won't be seeing too many shooting stars through the clouds.

 I don't go in for "monthaversaries," but I think it is nice to remember things... :goodvibes Honestly though... I still feel like I'm going to wake up any moment. :cloud9:

Lucky us!! :love2:

I think that in the beginning you tend to remember all of those month anniversaries, even if you don't celebrate them or mention them. As time goes by though you tend to only think about the bigger ones.

I do remember little anniversaries such as when we first started officially dating (March 1, 1975) and when we got engaged (April 6, 1979) that kind of stuff. :teeth:

For the life of me though, I can't remember who I got my first kiss from  Isn't that horrible  You'd think I'd remember something important like that.

TZM is fine with me. It is nice to have people that want to refer to me enough to shorten my DIS name. LOL!

I like the 1 month versary thing. It is pretty cool. The 1st date one is cool too!

- Were you talking about the first kiss with your spouse or your first kiss ever?

See... we're lucky with this. I mean, first date, first kiss, first Disney trip... same day! :teeth:

mmmmm, I'm guessing I'm going to have to say yes to both of those TZM, since I don't remember either one :rotfl2:

I will admit that the group I hung around with as a teenager did a LOT of "kissing around" ;) We were basically equal opportunity kissers, no discriminating, one big happy group of kids :smooth:

ophie, yup you are lucky to have so many things grouped together on the same date.

My son and his girlfriend share the same birthday (not year though). I told them they just have to get married on that date and then he will have no excuse to forget their anniversary. :teeth:

lol, that's pretty funny. Two good friends of mine (the ones in the pictures I linked) got married on her parents anniversary. That was kinda cool. They had a special surprise song played for the parents at the reception.

But yeah... I think we're pretty lucky. :teeth: And not just about the grouping of things on the same date. :lovestruc TZM makes me feel like a princess:

OMG.. I forgot all about that! Thanks so much for reminding. I must of threw the paper away that I wrote it down on. It's suppose to rain tonight but it's sunny right now so mabye it won't rain.

What time was it again? :confused3

I am terrible at remembering dates. I even have to think twice about our wedding anniversary. Isn't that bad? :sad2:

But I do remember my first kiss...my first love and all that stuff. Shhhhh...don't tell Roger

I remember when Roger proposed to me clear as day..the events that took place but I don't remember the date. :confused3 I remember what I wore..what he wore...what we were drinking..What we ate.. :rotfl: Just don't ask me what the date was...

I'm a little better with birthdays though...well most of the birthdays..

Cally, the reason I remember the date we got engaged was because it was 2 days before Rick's birthday. I always joke that he got me for a birthday present that year :rotfl:

I think the meteor showers are best viewed in the very wee hours of the morning ~~ when we're up dising still ;) You should be able to see them earlier but prime time I heard was a couple of hours before dawn.

So what time would that be? :rotfl:

Hey that is a very good way to remember a date!

I've got a question/favour to ask of my threadkiller friends.

Are any of you sewers??

I am looking for a piece of Disney fabric - preferably something with Mickey on it. I only really need about a 1/2 yard piece but would take a full yard.

Mickey cloth is very hard to find here, tons of Pooh stuff though. I did find two today but they weren't even that nice and they wanted $16.00 a meter for it (approx 13.50 a yard in US terms)

I want it to make a bag out of, well, I want Liz to make me a bag out of it ;)

I would be happy to pay for the fabric and also the shipping costs if someone knows where there is some cute stuff and would be willing to send it to me. Also if you think it would be cheaper for me just to buy the stuff here and put up with the pattern I don't like that well, let me know that too.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

How dare you insult us! No one has ever called me a sewer, those things STINK! :crazy2:

:rotfl2: Ok, sewer was my 1st thought, as in waste, THEN I thought sewer, as in, able to sew! :rotfl2: Oh, Good One on me! :rotfl:

Off-hand tho Robin, I can't remember the last time I visited a fabric store. :confused3 I'm probably no help. :sad2:

Kim, I looked at that too and wondered how long it would take one of you guys to pick up on that :rotfl2:

No problem with the lack of help. I will keep looking or use the stuff that I know I can find here. Maybe I will have to go to a bigger city and look there. :confused3

Hi, Colleen!!!

Having fun without us :cheer2:

I'm wondering if you will be out on the beach laying down in the sand, looking for those shooting stars :)

We miss you! :wave2:
