I can't believe I haven't posted here in 3 days, sorry. Then again, I haven't done anything else either in 3 days. :rolleyes:

Kelly is much better today. She was actually bored enough to want to clean her room, without being asked!! :earseek:

Tonight, she wanted to do the dishes, but that would involve climbing onto a chair, so I told her no. Her wounds were very itchy yesterday, and we turned that into a reason for giggling - Not Laughing though, No Way, No How! She says it hurts to laugh, so we just giggle. :teeth:

I gave her Motrin once in the morning today, and then again at bedtime, so I think her pain is almost entirely gone. Movements are not 100% normal, but as long as it doesn't hurt, I'm thankful! She's looking forward to going back to school tomorrow, no matter what! There's a Valentine's Day party I think she's interested in.

It does seem like it happened ages ago, already. And yet I remember each detail very well.

I have YOU to Thank as well, remember? 2 weeks ago tonight, you talked me down from HUGE anxiety, and spent a good amount of time 'talking' with me about your similar situation. It helped me greatly to be prepared for what was coming the next day, and the next, and ultimately, the surgery itself. :hug:

Gosh, was that only 2 weeks ago... seems like a lot longer than that doesn't it.

Hi everyone!

Kim - I'm glad that DD is doing better. I know your stress level will plunge now. She's a lucky girl to have a mommy like you. I went to Target this weekend and got another WATP DVD. This one is walk/jog. I'm gonna try it tomorrow - I'll let you know.

Robin - we're ALL lucky to have you! I think you actually beat BP in the flirting - I was keeping score! I think all you have to do is whisper free food and his knees turn to.............jello. Our taxes are due 4/16 and all the information W2's, 1099's, etc are required to be mailed on 1/29. So we have everything.

BP - Tom liked the idea of the chicken soup served with the special outfit. However, you can really tell he's not feeling good. He was more interested in the chicken soup....darn the bad luck. As for the 10K post - can I sign up for the wing making committee? Also, the karaoke committee.

Well, it's time for beddy-bye. I've got to get up early and exercise tomorrow.

My Leslie Walk/Jog tape is collecting dust, either of you could have had it for FREE. I have so many of her other tapes, that I think I've used the Walk/Jog maybe 3 times. Not that I didn't like it, but like I say, I have so many others I like better.

I'm ashamed to say I only exercised twice this week though, on Monday and Wednesday. :guilty:

I just could NOT take time away from Kelly, and the tour that one night. I will do better this week, starting tomorrow. :sunny:

I'm interested to see if stress plays any part in a loss this week. :confused3

I hope I haven't GAINED!!! :earseek:

I'm betting that you have not gained any weight the past week Kim. You probably ended up losing it with all that was going on. I would probably have been just the opposite.

I wouldn't say that walk/jog DVD is my favourite either. I have had it quite a while but never tried it. I did the 4 mile Fat Burning Walk on Friday for the first time too. It had some jogging in it too and I lived to tell the tale from that one. :earboy2:

So I decided to try the walk/jog one out.

I have no car to use so ..Im just going to make him a nice dinner(eggplant parm) and send an Ecard....

Well another DGCs Birthday is today!...My DGS David turns three today!....They had a sledding party for him yesterday...LOTS of kids...Good food(chick soup, homemade bread, chips and Hot choc. with marshmallows)and a fun time...Now I have until April til the next Birthday... :hourglass

Hope everyone has a wonderful day...

as for me... I notice that our first mortgage payment has not cleared the bank yet and it has been 2wks since I mailed it... so I call the company...and they have never received it... they tell me I can call the bank and do stop payment on the checks and make the payment over the phone

so I call the bank...there is going to be a $50 stop payment fee!!!

I call the mortgage company back and ask if we can wait a few more days to see if the check gets there and they say sure they'll make a note on the account...

now I'm worried... what happened to the payment??? Is is safe to wait another few days or should I go ahead and do stop payment? What if someone gets a hold of the check... I mean they can't cash it right??? it says.. Pay to..SO and SO mortgage company... what if they do cash it??? that couldn't happen though right???? what should I do???
