Roger left The whole time I'm thinking...keep it together...keep it together...keep it together.

I can't let the kids see my sadness It seems the older they get the more they realize what it means when he leaves.

I almost lost it though watching the boys hug and kiss him. The look in Dante and DeV's eyes was just a bit painful to watch. They know this time is different with it being the holidays.

BUT~ I kept it together but doesn't mean i'm not sad

Went to dinner last night with my friend Bob, his wife Donna & their daughters! They took me to their favorite Japanese steakhouse (hint:their fav...not mine....not that I am complaining ) and Ihad a Birthday cupcake at the end!

I am craving spaghetti & meatballs, sooooooo i put a pot of sauce on and made meatballs......IT SMELLS DEEEEEEELICIOUS.

Me & James are going to see Enchanted tonight!

The boys won't go see Enchanted with me so I guess I'm waiting for DVD like Brenda!

I got lotsa Christmas siggie pics from Brenda (Thank you Brenda~) but haven't taken the time to edit them in...

I cancelled John's KTTK tour ticket, can you believe it'll take 3 weeks for me to get my moola back??? I still hafta cancel John's airline ticket, it's nonrefundable so I am in no hurry to get that done.

Fun! I like reading trippies, esp when I'm about to head to WDW.

oh we played Wii last night 1st time at SIL's....it was fun & boy did i knock DH out in boxing...it's those years & years of kickboxing class at the gym...but the Wii boxing game is a good workout!!!

Yes it is!!!! And it's so fun at the same time. We like to do the bowling and Tennis

DS & I went to San Jose today to do some shopping...bought that new coffee pot...& i asked him if we wanted to see Enchanted...it was playing there...but NOPE - he's too old for that now i have to wait for DVD i guess.....

I went to a dance show that showcased local dance studios tonight.

If I ever, EVER say that I am going to take a belly dancing class, you guys just smack me upside the head okay

It has been a busy weekend...We had a very nice day yesterday....Went to Enchanted, then to Applebees for lunch....then on the way home picked up Ice Cream and all the fixins for sundies.....and then the girls decorated our Christmas tree, that DH...Just had to put up already....
It looks very nice...and will look perfect AFTER I rearrange everything...LOL

I really liked Enchanted...It was a little hokey, but very cute ..and yes I saw alot of "Disney" things in it....

Its very rainy here today....I feel bad for my DS and DGS ...as they are hunting this morning...and have been out for quite awhile...because their car has been out in my driveway since I woke up...at least its not too bad temp wise....in the 40s...
Im making them chilli, for when then get in...So Im off to go get that finished....

I think belly dancing sounds kind of fun

Betsy, the Wii has a lot of games that require you to stand and be active. It's such a good work-out and you don't even realize it because you're having so much fun playing.

It was and still is very foggy outside with a slight drizzle. It's only 55 though and suppose to rain all day and night

Rainy here today. Actually slept late (11:00) and so did James (he is usually up with da boids)! We watched Hairspray on DVD last night. Cute movie. But JT was in it!

Got me very first Christmas card of the season None of us would be suprised by who it was from!

I got my first Christmas card, too! From a friend of mine that we went to their place for dinner last night. I've got to tell you about this one!

My friend & her husband are certified BBQ judges for the southeast. He made ribs on a smoker that's as big as a truck bed (no exaggeration). He put them on the smoker for 4 hours.

First he put a rub on them, then basted them with Italian dressing & apple juice. Then when they were almost ready to pull of the grill he glazed them with honey & cherry juice. They were fall of the bone tender and they had what we in the south refer to as a "smoke ring". It's a pink ring around the outer edge that denotes the food was smoked.

I gotta tell you....they were the BEST ribs I've ever eaten! I've visited a LOT of good BBQ joints, too! I swear I could hear the angels singing!

Well, I hope ya'll are having a good day. Robin, I guarantee I'll do my darndest to talk you out of belly dancing! I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a stick than attempt that one, so I assume everyone else feels the same!

Tomorrow is DH's birthday and our DD & 2 grandkiddos are making the trip from Orlando to have dinner with him *shhhh* it's a surprise!

I had Pizza from Tony's. It was good!

Did some "Cyber Monday" shopping....Not as many good deals as Black Friday. BUT the only thing worse than dealing with the crowds & lines on BF....is hitting ENTER on the websites on Cyber Monday and waiting 5 minutes for the webpage to come up. Slllllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooowwww! The Disney Store site is HORRIBLE. Everytime you enter the 'add to cart" it takes you to your cart then you have to backtrack 4 or 5 pages ....took FOREVER.
But I did get some good deals, and 30% off already reduced prices & $5 shipping. All in all ordered about 10 things for under 100.00!

Bought meself 2 cashmere shirts from Wal*Mart for 20 bucks eack w/ 97cents shipping. And James (da brat) got a extra...recieved a email from Sirius radio, that they were "giving" radios away to their customers. Wound up getting him a Ipod like Sirius radio, which also records radio shows (like tivo) and a whole bunch of other neat stuff it does...with a year subscription...for a total of 55.00!!!! Normally that is a 250.00 thing!

I'm a sucker for cheap electronics!

PS - DU - good job 'cyber shopping'....i did some today...but didn't get quite as good as deals as you did...bought a wine cellar for son in law....& some new flatware for me...Macy's had free shipping my flatware is Oneida marked down from 285 to 139....so a good price for 12 settings....but think i only got about $100 off the wine cellar....oh well - he's into his wine so should like it....
