I read about that casino and was wondering what everyone in your area thought of it. They've tried to put in some casinos around here and it has been very controversial to say the least! Let me know how it is. I'm not a fan of casinos. I only went once and hated it, so I gave up on the slots after a very short period and went to watch DH play Blackjack instead. He did very well. WOn about $600.00 I think.

I Slots! More so when they go CAH-CHINK!

They had their resistance here, but WHADDA BOOM to the economy. They spent 70 Million redoing Mount Airy Lodge. It is suppose to be beautiful. All glass bar, seats are glass, tables...everything. 4 high end restaraunts, shopping mall.... In their first week alone, they brought 48 Million in!

We are FINALLY getting some major stores/restaurants. Best Buy just opened.

But my town just vetoed taking $ from the casino profits!

YUP. He just left...Thermostat went! Just waiting for the water to heat up....then gonna take a shower & go to work.

I may even get out of work early tonight...and if I do....i just might treat myself and go to the Brand new Casino that just opened 5 minutes away from my house. They are open 24x7. Everyone is RAVING about it!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is a secret. Not tellin anyone...just some me by myself time with a Slot machine!

Great Glad it wasn't anything major...

Alone time sounds nice... have a good time!

they don't offer park discounts for holiday help, only the store discount.

they cannot guarantee a job because of my vacation.

That's ok tho. I really want to hold off working until I get into school~

I only applied in case I could get some $$ off my upcoming vacation

Great slide show as usual! My dog has the Fleece Mickey heads too! His favorite toy. We bought a bunch of them in June to gove him throughout the year, because I have no idea when we're going back to WDW!

It's also good to see that your family is eating healthy and brushing their teeth!

The picture of Rachael came out pretty good. I was expecting it to be really blurry.

I got a good full face shot, she was a little blurrier before, I used photoshop to clean it up some. The guy before her is Matt Odonnell, he's a local newsman that had a table outside where Rachael was.

I didn't put in the shot where DS was lifting his shirt for me while he was brushing his teeth

I had looked at that toy two trips ago...when I went to buy one I couldn't find any This last trip, that was the first thing I bought. I am glad I did, they both really like it!

all of the pictures were from a little spot just up the street from my house, our leaves are *finally* starting to get some color...one or two of those were edited to bring the color out a little more~

Our only plans for today is a Flyer's game tonight...John and me are gonna go out for food (Benny the Bums near the stadium) and then go to the game for 7pm.

Good mornin!

I got to the new casino last night! VERY VERY NICE (hear me DP!)

My only complaint (ya know I had to have one) is that it is MOSTLY 1 & 2 cent slots! Nice to 'kill" time but you wont win any fortunes! Even the $1 Progressive slots, the most you can win is $1,000. This aint bad but considering in AC or Vegas you CAN win MILLIONS on the dollar machines...there is a difference.

Anyhow, Its a great place to go kill a few hours, have lunch...etc!
