Hello All

It was Alberts birthday today....AND Sunday....
So we had the DGKs...ALL of them this time....and we had a party for Albert...
This year he got a turkey meatball with cheesewhiz frosting....LOL..With 2 candles... ..A dog toy, and a fresh beef bone.... Its good to be Albert....LOLaw:

I remember that! .....I think??? .....Was it the Pebbles, and BamBam cartoon in the 60s????( a flintstones spinoff)?...They were like teens in it..and that guy would always mumble something odd like "woasie, woasie, woo woo"...and only had bad luck....Its was a bad attempt...to modernize the Flintstones...I dont think it was on for to long...Was that what you were talking about....????

Yep it was a good week & a wondeful end to a great 6wk BD celebration...I AM GLAD it's all OVER now....nothing to do but relax now for awhile I don't even have to host TG this year....my two sister in law's are doing that...one is having some of us on TG day while the other is away at her inlaws, & when she gets home, she'll host another in combination with my niece's 14th BD party....so definitely looking forward to an awesome TG wkend - have a "spa" day at Burke Williams the day after TG with DD & two other friends.....

Hope you all had a really great wkend too!!!

Good Mornin!

Busy day here (for me) Massive cleaning, for Saturdays BIG EVENT..Makenzies Bday party. And they are coming to replace Hot Water heater!

Got a NASTY call left on my v/m on Saturday night. It was WalMart Deli, they wanted to know when I am going to pick up my catered food, I was suppose to be picking it up at NOON..and I should call them BACK immeadiately (no Phone #) given
.
The food is for NEXT Saturday (17th).

Soooooooo I look up the phone # in the phone book, asked for the Deli dept....and got the lady who took my order to begin with. She said "YUP it says "SATURDAY NOV 17" all over the order....somebody wasnt paying attention!!!!
So WalMart workers had about 100 bucks of food to eat up Saturday night!

Went out with James yesterday, he cashed in his coins for Christmas shopping. Bought himself some nice stuff!

so the story for Club 33 is that my friend Dana who always go to DL with me the 1st Monday of Nov (while our hubbies golf) had her BD in Sept., so thought what a better BD gift than lunch at 33...she has NEVER been. So that a.m. we get to the park, waiting in line to get in & I tell her what we're doing to celebrate. She's like "okay sounds nice"....while we are standing there some people behind us from Texas who come to DL alot are telling us about their '50th' bd & how their kids bought one of the stones with the castle for DL's 50th anniversary in '05. she turned 50 that year. then they also had taken a ride on the "Lillybelle" the day before....so i proceed to tell them about our lunch at 33 & they were SOOOOO excited for us...just like little kids & then dana felt kinda bad they were more excited about our lunch than she was. Sooooo we get to the club...go in & their running a little behind....so we have to wait...the hostess starts checking out our shoes - to be sure they pass their guidelines (they were leather sandals or slides but you can't wear flipflops....anyway they passed - we were seated at a nice window table overlooking the French Quarter & lagoon where i could see Capt Jack over on Tom Sawyer island. We had a yummy lunch & even better dessert bar.....AND by the time it was all over - Dana 'got' why a ressie at Club 33 was / is just SOOOOO cool!!!

My best friend turns 50, and his wife is giving a suprise party on Dec 30th. I am suppose to be helping...BUT...we havent even had a chance to discuss this with each other. She did leave me a message that she hired a Hypnotist for the PARTY! I dunno IF thats a good thing.

Ok...here is my day!

Spent the WHole day cleanin...(windows et all......) First my friend Bob (the soon 50 year old) calls to BS...he was bored...couldnt get him off the flippen phone. Then later he calls back, to remind me to tape the show 2 1/2 men & the one after it for him. He is a IT systems prog...and CANT FIGURE OUT how to program a VHS, A DVR...nutin.

Then my neighbor comes over....his Son's wife (who everyone hates) is having a affair....My neighbor (about 60) is DEVASTED over this...I mean really really reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally devasted. He keeps coming over to talk to me, and give me updates.
Now I am in the middle of cleaning, 2 old people are getting in my way(oxygen hoses & Vacum cords getting twisted together), even the dog was preturbed by me movin all the furniture around....and my neighbor keeps stopping by!

ON TOP of all this...Its NOT the Hot water heater thats broke, BUT the pipe that is under the house that carries the Hot water to the Kitchen....has a leak!!!!!! (no wonder the Elec bills are SKY HIGH).....so tommorrow that have to run a new pipe, and shut out the old one.

This enatils emptying out all the kitchen cabinets(bottom) the closet the Hot water heater is in...etc. ALOT OF STUFF, and no where to place it. Moving the Fridge & washing machine......and make sure the parents dont trip over any of it.

I have a Drs appoint tommorrow (which I already had to cancel twice)..I am going & getting VALIUM while I am there!

Cally, I would also put the tree up early if it meant he gets to enjoy it with you...you know, it's legal to change the day the holiday falls on if a significant other is gonna be away...when's your Christmas Day gonna be?

I was just remembering my favorite TKer Christmas. It was 2005 and I had the pleasure of spending a specified day online from Susan (Tinknutt)'s House with Ann online with all of the tkers opening presents together

We could do that again this year only different...maybe specify a day, before Roger leaves, that we could all get online together and toast to the holidays (remotely) together...
