Always the smart a$$ aren't'cha? I almost packed the camera away (in an unreachable bag) and realized that would be silly cause ten minutes into the drive I'll be looking to pull it out

Betsy, Rose said she wanted to meet up with someone in september but won't be going to Epcot til sunday (the 30th?) She's actually going to Tampa on friday and universal on saturday. Any chance you'll be around? What's your plan for that day?

I am sure I'll be checking in on the road.

Just home from DS' football jamboree in Santa Cruz....it was great - St Francis won all 4 of their scrimmages ....this is a big deal for our school as it's a new school - 5 y/o....and this is their 3rd year of FB, but 1st in a league....

Happy Happy BD to Betsy's Mom - Betsy - hope you found those glads...how wonderful that you continue that tradition...

Colleen - I hope you're in bed trying to get some sleep...but thinking you're probably up...going over the list of packed items and what's left to pack in the am....but either way - ENJOY your vacation....rest...read....do nothing....you know the stuff you don't ever get to do....

The 30th is our last day...We might be in Epcot, but I already told the boys that seeing as The 29th was my day, they could pick the parks the last day....so Im suspecting that its going to be some other park then Epcot,BUT you never know..that may be the park pick...for part of the day anyway...
You have my cell no. ...give it to her and maybe we can hookup somewhere......

I have yet to hear from Cally, I hope she is still in this meet.....
Boy will she have a surprise, when she does come on to post!....

So much for an early start

John and me were up at 530, supposed to be on the road by six. we had five kids to get up tho instead of two. After our gas and coffee stop at wawa we were on our way at 645.

Oh well, I am happy to be on our way.

I am sure I didn't tell you who's with us cause I didn't know for sure til last night. Ds and dd of course, they brought one girl friend and one guy friend and my nephew Otto. Rose and ed are bringing their ds and dd, their ds is bringing his girlfriend and dd is bringing another girl friend and guy friend.

The only other person I know who wants to come down is my coworker Kenny. He surfs. His days off are Tuesday and Wednesday. He intends to drive down either this Monday or next. I'm gonna place my bet now that he doesn't show.

Hed have to drive 450 miles one way for two mornings of surfing. If we have really good waves, he'll show. We've had some pretty flat surf the last few years, if its flat its not worth the trip IMO.

Callys myspace says she's studying all the time, I would PM her the good news, shed absolutely get that faster.

Gonna hit post now and pray I don't lose all this...

HOT! HOT! HOT! Here too. But I don't think I'm really too far from you! We're supposed to break records today. Thankfully for the first weekend since May, we don't have anything that we HAVE to do this weekend, but I do have a lot of stuff that I want to get done. Alot of housecleaning this weekend. WIth the kids home all summer this place is clutter city. You'd think that they could put things away, with being home with nothing else to do, but instead things just accumulate and when DH and I get home from work I think we're just to tired to deal with it or to make the kids deal with it so things have gotten a bit out of hand. I'd like to get everything back in shape before school starts.

Also have to go to the mall to pick up a few things...I hate the mall! The girls need new sneakers for school so I want to bring them shopping for those, I don't want to wait until next weekend when stores will be packed. We start school on the 5th.

I told DD(13) I would bring her swimming this afternoon. THe pool will probably be packed with this heat, but the pool closes next weekend so we gotta get it in now. We swim at the Y during the school year, but I like to lounge in the sun at poolside when I can (which unfortunately isn't often).

Man, I thought I was having a relaxing weekend, with no obligations, until I wrote this!

good morning TKer's... it's Saturday!! i'm had 1/2 cup of coffee just reading thru this am's posts....

that reminds me......last night while i was posting....DH was watching some stupid tv show which i can't stand....and he asks me what i'm doing....okay now this is something i've been doing how long now??? ummmm 2+ years....so i tell him i'm DIS'ing while he watches tv...and he's like "You're doing WHAT???? " OMG - sometimes they have not a clue

going to Giants game tonite - most likely our last SF game this season....but still have my NY game next month!!! Really getting excited about that...should be SOOOO much fun!

tomorrow we have the annual Sports Foundation BBQ for DS' high school...it is a fun event & done on a ranch so it's cowboy boots & jeans...now i don't have any cowboy boots....but i do have jeans!!!

going to my Wt Watchers mtg for the 1st time in 2months.... they probably removed my file....

We are suppose to go and pull wood that was cut last year out of our woods and start stacking for the winter, BUT
ITS SOOOO HOT HERE...AND VERY HUMID....
Im not sure Im up to it....

We are also trying to get all our videos, on to DVDs....Got about half done.....
BUT it will be a good day to finish them..as our BR is ACed...LOL..

Hello everyone!!!

I am so HAPPY to hear that our mini meet has grown into a NOT so mini meet!!

Colleen, you're planning on coming too?

I can't wait.. it's almost that time.

As for school...it's going GREAT... As of yesterday I found out I have passed the last clinical portion of nursing school

I got a 77 in my OB class... I'm doing Peds right now.. and just had two tests on Friday for Peds.. I got a 90 and 75 I just messed up that last test.. Oh well

I have a presentation to give on Wed to the 3rd and 4th quarter students.

Then Thursday I have another PEDS test..... Wed Sept 5..we have a Pinning Ceremony where I'll get pinned!!!

Then a few more tests after that..

On Sept 20 I will have a 150 question comprehensive test on everything I've learned in nursing.. then that same day in the afternoon I will have a PEDS final...

Then I'll be done... and just waiting to take my Boards test for my license.

So many test.....so little time...

Sorry I haven't been around much..... Once I get through school things will go back to normal
