I just wanted to let you know that I'm having internet frustrations

I'm also having DISboard withdrawal symptoms.

I've not caught up since Friday, only am able to trust reading this page.

Just wanted to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Colleen.

I did not forget. We had company this weekend and the airplane competition that I worked at so I was not able to get near the computer at all.

I hope that I will be able to catch up soon.

Hiya Threadkillers!

Coming to you LIVE from Orlando. It took me FIVE hours to get here today - usually it's only 2.5 hours. Between the weather in Jacksonville and the traffic - yeesh!

However, I'm having a great time and the grandkids are wonderful, cute, cuddly, fun and all the rest! I bought them a present for each day and it was hard to convince my DGS that he couldn't have them all at once! I think he's pretty sure I'm a present machine (which I am - for him!)

The kids & grandkids decorated my room for my birthday and we had cupcakes...it was SO sweet of them! I especially liked the cup cakes since I usually do the cooking for everyone when I travel.

I made this really cool chicken dish for dinner with marinated artichoke hearts, parmesan & mozarella cheeses, sour cream and sun dried tomatoes. It was awesome!

I've got chocolate souflees in the freezer (new recipe) and I'm making a chocolate macadamia nut pie on Thursday.

Dinner tomorrow is Nana's magic cheeseburgers (homemade buns wrapped and baked around the burgers) we're going out Wednesday and Thursday is Chicken & black bean chili....I won a chilli contest with it!

Robin...I'm glad you're back! I hope the internet is up and running for you. I like to trave with the laptop.

PC - Good luck with the blood (and guts) day. I wouldn't volunteer! I'm like DU...I can't watch anyone take blood. I can, however, watch CSI....but I only watch the original because it's the best one!

GM-TK'ERS!

Got to go into work today to take a Company wide MANDATORY Sexual Harrasment class!
They harrassed me into taking it, on my day off, in the middle of the day! Not to mention I will get stuck in rush hour traffic on my way home.
Besides I work with only men.......If there is Sexual Harrasment going on...well then ..."there are BIGGER fish to fry" Not that there is anything wrong with that!

And today marks the 3rd week of waiting 2-3 weeks...and NUTIN yet!

Why cant anything ever be EASY! I'd swear I'd appreaciate everything sooooooo much MORE if it was! By the time I ever get anything, it has always been so many hassles, so much angst, complete confusion...that by the time I got it....I am always too aggravated to enjoy!

OK! Thats my BEEF's for today!

Tomorrow at this time i'll be boarding my plane - headed to Minneapolis - pick up Lora & reboard to LGA - NYC here we come!!!

Cally....i was a pretty good at drawing blood & giving injections....blood...buts...don't bother me none at all......so i went to school - graduated with a 'technical cert' i guess it is as a med asst...but found i could make more money in the food industry & that's where i've been ever since......but so far...this Strawberry business has been the best!!! (it was cold storage & then carrots prior to here)....all heard of GRIMMWAY carrots?

Ann...i'm with them on TG dinner at your house....i think you're the best chef i know.....and that's just from 'reading' about dinner menus.....

off to get some work done....bbl~

I have been busy, BUSY...getting everything together for the trip....
I am almost all packed, I still have to do my Mom, as she is going to be staying with my DB&DSIL...and I have to get Alberts stuff together....He is going to visit with my DS&BIL..AND his best pal..."Waldo"(a Bision freis(sp?)He and Waldo are one week apart in age....They are buddies.......actually MORE then buddies ... ..... Not that there is anything wrong with that....

I think I can watch animals get shots, because they have fur and I never actually see the needle going into the skin...like you can with people... ..Thats my theory anyway

I am trying to get a couple of Ts done...for MNSSHP...(our costumes..LOL)
I made the design...Now all I have to do is get it all put together....
I cant believe I didnt do them months ago...I have been soo behind with this trip......What gets done ..will be ... great!...what doesnt...OH WELL! ....Not a big deal....
I did get the gift boxes done for the boys to find when they walk into the room....
I was going to order something from one of the girls on these boards that do that stuff....BUT the cost was unbeliveable...
So I figured Id do it myself....
Ill have Mike keep them busy as I go up and put it all in the room...
They turned out really cool. ..They have disposable cameras, sunglasses, a Disney lanyard and pins for trading, GOH,badges, a little box of goldfish, some smarties..."Car"pez, Fat pens that have a fan on the top...and other things I cant remember...Im sure they will love it!

I better go now or I wont get anything else done....
I still have to mow my lawn or it will be way high when we get back....
AND too!

So Ill be in and out today....

Cally, it doesn't bother me to get shots, have blood taken, iv's inserted, whatever

I can watch it all. Whether they are doing it to me or someone else.

I've actually considered going thru for a nurse many times over the years.

I should have done it a few years back. I won't anymore. I'm too old and set in my ways and enjoy the freedom of being my own boss too much now.

Betsy, good luck with getting all your stuff done before you leave.

I know about the price of those baskets from someone online here. I had enquired about it before and they are very pricey in my opinion. Others don't seem to share that opinion though, so I don't know if I'm just cheap or they have more money to throw around than I do

I've only packed costume stuff...my pirate outfit gets better and better...I have a few things left over from our Cruise from pirate night, the new top I needed to make the outfit, my sashes for my head and waist and lotsa black eyeliner~

I am running back over to my Disney store today. I was over there yesterday and only bought a new journal, it has Capt Jack on the front. The pillows are on clearance but they only have Will pillows. I saw an outfit I want, shoulda just bought it yesterday instead of hedging. This morning I decided I HAVE to have it, so I am going back today to get it.

Yes Betsy...i'm flying tomorrow.....and will tell Aisling hello...then as you all just saw...Colleen & Aisling will meet up with us Saturday (that is our shopping day) before Wicked..... SOOOOO looking forward to the whole trip...spending time with Lora; being in NYC & meeting Aisling & Colleen - what a perfect trip!!!!

Well they could of used you today! I got stuck and the girl was moving the needle in my arm all kinds of ways looking for my vein It really didn't hurt until she pulled it out
