Hey I even Tivo!

That would be good....because i FORGOT to add Desp Housewives to my new Tivo box....arrrrghhh....and last week i bought the last episode of '07 from Itunes - downloaded it to my Ipod, just to have it rebroadcast 2 days later had really planned to sit and watch that episode tonite....so now i'm a little ticked...

Welcome to my world!!!!! Nutin like seeing my 55in HD 5.1 DTS stereo tv with constant reruns of Law & Order on!!!!!!!!!!! I watch movies upstairs on a 36 innch, no HD , No DTS 5.1 Dolby Stereo Surround sound

Cally.....i think you're too young for 30 Thirtysomething...i on the other hand being ***ONLY*** 4ever 40 did watch it & liked it (most of the time)

thanks for the heads up on CM...i set Tivo season pass to record everything titled CM whenever...so right now it's recording something every night

I loved SITC. We don't have HBO or whatever it was on, so have only seen the language toned down versions in the reruns, but I think the show is hysterical. DH watched it with me a couple of times and hated it!

I did watch CM Sunday (after DH, sorry you missed that Brenda). I'm not sure if I'll like the series or not, could go either way.

Colleen ~ so sorry about MIL. What a PITA. I hate having my personal space invaded and hate having mu routine interrupted! I'm happy to report that my MIL went to Florida for the winter this past SUnday. My DH dropped her off at the airport and then called my from his cell phone to let me know he was dancing his way out of the airport, that the skies were blue and the sun was shining! You guys know that we're hoping to go to WDW in March for Spring Break. MIL keeps inviting us to her house for that time period. We are beach people and she lives 5 minutes from an incredible beach on the gulf, but we keep telling her no, that flights are too expensive at spring break, so instead we're planning a sneak vacation to WDW, where will pay thousands of dollars for food, tickets and the resort, but would rather do that then just spend on the airline tickets and have an otherwise totally free vacation at her house. I commented that we could go there for a few days to visit her and DH and all of my DDs said No Way! Absolutely not. I know it's not just me, when her Grandchildren and son don't want to go to see her! Hang in there Colleen, you'll be rid of her before you know it!

, but cooler then the last few days....Im not complaining..I just wish it would stay this way the rest of the winter... ..Im sure we will go back to deep freeze soon though

I put CM on my DVR....Ill let you know how I like it... ..I have never really seen any of SITC...Im not much of a TV watcher...but now that we have the DVR thru, our Dish sat....I record everything and watch during the day ..when Im bored..or need break time...

I have my tank all set up and put two guppies, and a loach into it as starter fish....and as expected Im loosing one of my guppies...
I've always seemed to go through quite a few fish befor I get a tank right...
Its been a lot of years since Ive had one...
I dont mind losing the guppies, but I hope the loach lives....I know I should have waited, but its really cool. Its gold..I have never seen a gold one....
They are pretty tough tho, so it might live through, the new tank syndrome phase ...We will have to just wait and see

I never understood TIVO... you have to pay to record?

I know with the DVR (through cable company) you just pay your montly due and you can record whatever you want including the whole season of whatever shows you like.

How does the TIVO work?

Nope, no books yet...I am not 100% sure what classes I will get til registration day. For the unemployed, there is only one day to sign up, the day before classes start, we can have whatever is left (not full.)

My science and macroeconomics should be fine, it's the graphic arts and video editing courses I am praying are not full when I get there.

Cally - Tivo is just a DVR - that yes you pay a service fee to have....but I have a 'lifetime' service that was $400 (thx to SIL who worked for them)....you can set it up to record all the shows of a series (or just 1st time broadcasts no reruns) you can record just one...you can search for stuff to record with a specific actor i.e. Johnny Depp & then choose all his stuff you want recorded....probably very similar to your DVR...but it's thru Tivo instead of Dish or cable company....

Betsy - good luck with your tank....we used to have 150 gall tank at the office - it was great....salt water tank tho - but had a "Dorie" whatever kind of fish that is...and some clown fish & angel fish....

Du....really have to thank you for the 'digital frame' idea for my MIL....i heard from BIL how much she is enjoying it!!!


We were without power at the office today - ugghhh - got there at 6 am - no power - so ran to starbucks - got a coffee & went back to ofc to learn that we wouldn't have any till between 11 & 1....so went to our president's beach house where there was power & wireless internet. Finally got power about 11:45.....and then i find out that my scrapbooking event this wkend has been cancelled as the camp has been without power for a week....NOT GOOD....Calif just doesn't too well with these storms...
