Is it a dry wine? or fruity? :teeth:

Robin, who's the wine for... I know u don't drink :3dglasses
Betsy

The wine is for our friends who are cruising with us. I found out it is their anniversary on the 25th of January, so the Friday before we cruise.

You are right, the wine is definitely not for me.

Hey Robin,
Ill look for that email...But the wine was
"Banfi Rosa Ragale Branchetto d'Acqui"...
I buy it quite often on special occations, as its close to 20.00 a bottle in most places...
But I like it alot!...:thumbsup2

Morning everyone! Good news! I expect to have a ticker very soon! My birthday is Saturday and DH's is the 21st. We decided that we really want to get to Disney again soon. Usually he isn't as enthusiastic as I am, but this time he is! We decided not to get anything for each other for our birthdays, and instead to take the family to DIsney over Easter Break. Just have to figure out how we will swing the $$$$. We are used to going off season, but can;t do that anymore with the girls' school schedules. DD(12) could be taken out of school as she is a very good student and only in 7tgh grade, but DD(14) struggles a bit. SHe does well, but really needs to be in school to maintain good grades. If she missed a week, it would be all over! Also she participates in school sports, soccer, basketball, and track and we've always stressed tob her that you have to be there for your team, so we don't want her to miss practices or games for a trip to WDW. DD(16) is a junior now, in NY (and probably everywhere else) this is a big year! She takes all honors classes and has a straight A average, but 3 of the classes she is taking are college classes, so I don't think she should miss a week. That's alot to make up and catch up on at this level. So if we can swing the airline tickets and the resort and the APs, we will book em! It's just so expensive during Easter! I was taliking about just getting parkhoppers and DH said lets get APs and go again Thanksgiving week! Yippie I'll get to see Christmas decorations and maybe even go to MVMCP! I couldn't believe it! Good news is we each have a one day pass from free dining in 2006, that we never used, so we'll see if we can apply those to our APs. I also have a $100 credit on Southwest. Every little bit helps! Send me some Pixie Dust for affordability!

That's such an awesome plan PD!!! i honestly don't know why Disney has to RAISE their prices SOOOOOOO %*& high for holidays....last year's Easter cruise was almost double from the week prior or after...it's not like they wouldn't fill the ship.....but like you can't really take Ryan out of school. HS just doesn't like that!!! When we went to WDW in November 04 (the wkend prior to TG) - we got really decent rates & DS only had to miss 2 days of school (Mon & Tues) before TG. Had we gone on Wed or Thurs - the rates were jacked up....uggghhh - we were only there from Sat to Friday - so it was more affordable....

Here's some Pixie Dust....pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Good luck with your planning PD. I sure hope that you can manage it:thumbsup2

Today I am going to New Years Day dinner :teeth:

My mothers side of the family traditionally has New Years Day dinner. It ws to be at my Uncle and aunt's house this year but my aunt's brother dies just before New Years.

So dinner was put off until today. I don't go very often any more but since my mom is alone now, I figured I'd go with her. My cousins are a crazy bunch:rotfl: It will be fun.

Hey

PD~ Hope you get that trip!!!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I understand your school situation. My boys are still young enough but it does seem like it's getting harder and harder as they get older.

Last time we took Dante out of school his teacher wasn't very nice about it.
:confused3

Normally missing school for vacation in our schools would be un-excused and you were not allowed to make up work but ours was excused because they give special time off for kids who parents are about to deploy are just recently got back. :)

Gooooooooooooooood Afternoon (had to look at the time:eek: )

DeChristmasizing is 95% done....now where does everything go?????:confused3

PD

here ya go

 DU

My stuff sat in the foyer area for about a week... :3dglasses Finally put everything away in the attic. I had to make 3 trips.

Although the Christmas tree is still out back in the stand. It fell over tho... it's been windy. :upsidedow

Enjoy your dinner Robin... we're having left overs tonight!

Hey Cally....glad the schools give excused absences for deployments...they absolutely SHOULD!!!! One teacher i knew said that 'kids' can learn alot of things from their vacations that can't always be taught 'in school' classroom...i SO agree!!!

i spent most of yesterday moving into my 'new' home office...on 12/23 DS decided he wanted my old office (because of the walk in closet)...so he moved everything out & PILED into what was his room & the guest room.....uggghhh- glad its done & was an opportunity to clean out a few more files & get rid of lots of stuff as well....still have the guest room to clean now - everything in there came out of the closet...so have to sort thru it all i guess....

Colleen, you got some great shots. I see you got to see more then just wolves. ;) Is that your hubby walking away in the last pic? :thumbsup2

What song is that? I like it.

Colleen - can't wait to check out your new "wolf" photos...leaving soon to (finally) go see Natl Treasure. Not raining here (yet); but very dark & gray out so sure it will again soon. DS is JUST NOW getting out of bed (it's 3pm). But he was still up when i got up at 4:15 this a.m. - teenagers.....:confused3
