What you post over there will not show up over here.

Also what you post over there will be erased when the two boards are merged together.

Kinda neat to go over there and take the time machine back into the past a few days :teleport:

12/8/07

John (DH) and I celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday. I took my prize out for sushi and he bought me chocolate covered strawberries. He also bought me a bottle of crown royal for me to take to Florida with me :woohoo:

I was up around 930, hung out with the family and puppies til almost 2. John wanted to treat Adrian (DS) and I to Tony Lukes but there was a Penn State game which means a really long line, so no cheesesteaks.

Adrian and I were dropped off at the gate by 230 and thru security in 15 minutes. I checked the bags outside...sooo much easier, actually worth the tip.

Adrian was hungry. We stopped at a sandwich stand and he got a vegan/vegetarian sandwich (hummus, soy cheese, eggplant and bean sprouts) and a vitamin water. I got a pepsi.

The boy and I had SW boarding numbers A24 and 25. I thought that was great until the airline steward said there were only 25 on our flight today  Everyone on the plane had their own row. We had a little turbulence and saw a nice sunset from the air. I listened to Harry Potter audio book and DS listened to his iPod. Adrian says he likes the lights at night better than the sunset, he said the sunset made him think of hellfire.

For the first time ever, the descent hurt! My decongestant must've totally worn off. I don't like it when myears hurt.

Adrian and I made the obligatory potty stop and then headed to the monorail. DS asked if we had to take it, that was an emphatic yes. Have you ever noticed how long of a walk that would be without that monorail ride?!? Adrian was remembering his first trip from when he was five. He said he thought he was one of those kids who thought he was at Disney once he rode the monorail.

There were so few people on our flight that our luggage was already out and we had to run and catch it before it went thru to come around again.

Next stop was Alamo. I did the check in at the kiosk. There's alotta steps but it did seem easy. With that done we headed outside to choose our car. Of course the compacts are as far away from the terminal as it could possibly be. There were PT cruisers in the compact lane! For $90 for the week, I'll take me a PT cruiser. After watching a girl with her eye on mine walk away, we chose the red one.

...next up...shooting for Universal we wind up dowtown :scratchin

Is it my imagination or did the colours get brighter on here all of a sudden.

The smilies are a little funny too.

Tomorrow the boards go down for, I think 6 to 9 hours to switch to the new servers.

What will we do without the DISboards :confused3

I hope if I can ever get Mike on a plane that it goes the way it went for you all...Painless!...:thumbsup2

I had a very nice lunch yesterday...My DN joined us befor she had to go back to Ca...So we had a very nice visit...
AND I made res. for NYE..:cool1: As my sister is going to have Mom visit so Mike and I can go out for a change....
We are not big drinkers...So we figured why not our fave restruant...AND then we find out that they are having a band and everything....So we will do the whole night there....:yay: I just hope I can stay awake that long...LOL..Im just an oldster when it comes to staying up late....:sad2:

Robin,
How was your dad doing when you visited him for Christmas?....I hope well...:wizard:

Cally,
Im with you about Christmas...I can wait a year befor we do it all again...Im just now starting to get everything back to normal...

As a matter of fact Im starting to take down some of my decorations early( I normally dont take anything down until after NYs...But I figure if I start with the little things ..now it will be easier later...:thumbsup2

Ann,:flower3:
How was your Christmas?...Ya still with us?....How are the sisters?...We havent heard from them either???...PLease pass along, My hello!:wave2:

DU,
Too bad about not getting to sleep in.....Maybe let her use the car for a day???....then you could sleep in and not have to go anywhere,...because "NO CAR"...then you could veg...for the day!:thumbsup2

Well I have laundry to do.:laundy: ..BUT our washer broke down...and we havent gotten a chance to get another yet...So I guess it will have to wait...til I can get to the laundrymat this weekend...I HATE doing my wash in a laundrymat...:guilty:

I am going to buy some of our WDW tickets... today ...As Im worried that they will go up after the first of the year...MY problem is ...Im not sure if we will need an AP...So I think Ill just get the 5 adult 9 day tickets, and if good room discounts come out...Ill upgrade one of them into a AP...and seeing as I can now buy my DDE card at GSs when I upgrade...
Any thoughts ???? or advice????
Man this trip is going to be an expensive one....:sad2: ...BUT hey this will probably be Julias last one with us..as she will be 18 and on her own in a year...:scared: and it is also Brittanys birthday the last day we are there ...Sooo I want to make it special for her....:goodvibes ....I was thinking of taking her parasailing there...but its really expensive...more then on CC... Soo Ill think of somthing else...:upsidedow
