Evening everyone...


Betsy that is a really cute wreath even w/out the lights... I like it!
Do I even have to say how cute your DGD is? I know you must be very proud. She is beautiful.


Oh you want to hear about the house we found?? Well it's not ours just yet. We've looked a few houses but this one has just stuck with us and DH and I have discussed it. I think we will meet with the realtor one more time this weekend and look at the house one more time and make an offer. I will let you know how it goes....... BUTTTTTT the house is really nice... what caught my eye was the cherry wood cabinets through out the house.... the kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and fireplace is cherry wood. The kitchen counter tops and bathroom counters were black granite tops and all the appliances are stainless steel.... niceeeee .... The house has berber carpet throughout except for the foyer... the foyer has wood flooring...............and the kitchen has linolieum..(sp??) DH and I are thinking after a few years we'll change it out to wood flooring... the house is brand new......... we plan on making the back patio screened in so we can sit out there during the summer....... Ummmm... I think that's about it... if I think of anything else I'll give you an update..

Wow The house sounds really nice.....cherry wood and blk. granite...I wanted to have granite for my counter tops....But the quote was way more then we could afford....So we will have fabrcated counter for the reg. counters and granite tiles(alot less then slab) only for my island....(I think the name of it green verde)..but thats in the futrue....right now my island is a table ...Its taking alot of years but we do EVERYTHING ourselves.....the barn, the house..etc.

Its another shopping day....this time for food...and more cookie stuff(thats what I give out to....you know the mail lady, The person who has been our waiter at my Thurs. lunch resturant....My priest...etc.)

Anyway time to feed the beasts....Dakar still has his cough....not as bad , but its still there Wish I knew some magic meds to make it go away.....I HATE to hear it....

hey Betsy...I will definately take pics... the house is nothing big or anything... about 1600sq foot ..it will be our first home and probably will not be our last....definately not our dream home.... but a starter... We're suppose to go look at it again today.... :

Wow! PC - nice digs! DH and I traveled around SO much that we never bought a home til retirement. Ours is just a plain ol' house! I have dreams of granite counter tops when it's paid off.....I also dream of enlarging my engagement solitare and traveling! We'll see which one we actually do! However, we also have thought of selling the house later and purchasing a condo....in that case - no granite!

Well, we were supposed to walk, but Dad wanted to take his car to Ford. We told him we wanted to talk, but he wanted to go at 9am. Called us just before 9am and said he has an appt at 10! We could have walked! arrrrggg! However, he's Dad, so he's got us on a technicality. We adore him and would do anything for him.....just wish he'd have made the appt yesterday and we could have planned around it!

We've already cancelled our drive to check out a pit-stop on 10 & 75 for Robin, cause we have to drive him whenever the car is ready! We'll get it done another day.

Ooh! Grandparent alert! Carter (the oldest GS - almost 2) asked to go to the potty today for the first time! He's been coached, but never asked! This is a major deal here for us! He's headed over now for hugs & kisses!

The SOG is very nice, almost on GF scale! I've posted photos of the SOG, our stop at Clark's Inn in Santee, SC and our dinner at Ohana's...

SOG is much better than I expected...I expected Holiday Inn and got Grand Floridian!

I took many walks around the property, it's very pretty...
we ran into so many wild animals! Raccoons, wandered by the Evergreens right next to me and went in and out of the trash cans with 4 people standing right next to it!
My nephew has a thing with chasing animals and chased a raccoon, a rabbit and 3 deer during the same walkabout! lol.

Cold here today. Yesterday the temperature was lower but it felt great outside because there was no wind and the sun was shining. I spent an hour or so covering the fish pond yesterday afternoon.

Today, you wouldn't want to be out for long. Windy, chilly but warmer temperatures, no sunshine

I need to get some work done this weekend

How's everyone doing today? I had a lovely day (so far). I got up at 10am....really late! Had low-carb french toast for b'fast (at home - can you believe it?). I just finished making low-carb lasagna for dinner. We'll eat it after church. Instead of using lasagna noodles, I use baked eggplant slices....I think I've told ya'll that. Anyway, we like it!

Did a little shopping for Christmas dinner and have just a few more things to pick up around Wednesday.

Yesterday, we had DGS over for play time. We had SO much fun. He's a real hoot. He's getting to the point where he listens to you and understands. Especially "no touch". He's been really good with the Christmas tree & decorations. So nice!

Well, ya'll take care....my Steelers are playing so I'm watching the game!
