Just returned from DD's house. We had a delightful dinner and we brought over the sit-n-spin for the GS. It was his Thanksgiving present. They're heading to TN in a couple of days.

Well, he LOVED it! He particularly liked standing on it, or putting his stomach on the "steering wheel" and lifting his hands and feet! This one played music and he danced and clapped! In general, we had a ball!

I'm REALLY signing off, because I've got to finish my Christmas cards!

Robin, I have no idea what's going on here.

School thinks that since she went to school, even tho briefly, while she had the flu, that her resistance was down, and she caught something else this time. :rolleyes:

Good thing she's a good student. DS was sick once during this time (last month), but he only missed one day of school, and a few days of work. DD took a few naps today, still hasn't eaten anything but one popsicle (she refused a 2nd!), and now has another fever as well.

I left her asleep on the couch upstairs as she seems so rested there. I sure hope my boss continues to be understanding. I will have only worked 2 days this week, and next week is only 2-1/2 days, due to Thanksgiving. The week prior to this, I only worked about 2-1/2 days, and the week before that, 3-1/2 days. Not a very good November at all.

Long day following a long night....I'm beat.

I think I'll take out our Christmas stuff and get it ready. :teeth:

I don't have much planned for this weekend. For Thanksgiving we are going to Savannah, Ga for a few days so we don't need to worry about grocery shopping for food. I will be doing laundry though (again) so we have something to pack for our trip.

Thanks so much......They are a fun bunch.....Sometimes I just sit back and watch the madness going on around me...Loud, but fun.
Most of the time Im feeding them......My son started calling me "Nana Food" with my sec. DGC and it stuck.....As soon as they walk in the door they are hungry......My DDILs keeps saying we really do feed them at home.....we REALLY DO!......... LOL!......
Hey it gives me someone to cook for.....My DH, DM, and I dont eat much....Almost not worth a big dinner.

I am making a new wall paper now to update the pics ...when its done Ill post it...

Tomorrow I get to see my 9yo niece in a regional
cheerleading competition at The Trenton Sovereign Arena.

I have GOT to cheer her on for this one, the winner goes to
Orlando in 2 weeks for Nationals! Wouldn't that be sooo cool!?!

Her team would be competing the same week my
family will be there!

Hi everyone! Busy day today - only a few minutes to say hello! I ran out of Christmas cards last night, so I had to buy some more! That never happened before!

I also bought a few things for the kids & grandkids for Christmas. Hoping to get the packages mailed November 26th. That way I can relax and enjoy the holiday decorating!

DH's b'day is on the 27th of November. He was born on Thanksgiving day. His mother always said she was bummed that she missed the turkey dinner, but had him to be thankful for! Isn't that sweet?

Anyway, I'm signing off - busy, busy, busy!

Princessariel! How nice to see you post. I read your tag and I think you and I may be the only two people in the world who put our socks & shoes on like that! I once told BrerPapa that the author, Robert Fulghum once wrote a snippet abou that. But then, my theory is your husband IS Robert Fulghum..........and Santa! Thanks for loaning BP to us.....I second Cruisin - we really like his stories. Your grandbabies are cuties!
