Brer_Papa aren't you glad that this is the last day of the month, you can soon stop counting the "incorrigible's":p

 Hollyann. Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better. Not glad to hear that you are gearing up for hurricane duty again. I agree that is enough hurricane's for one year. Especially since I will be there in a few weeks and don't want to ruin my vacation ::yes::

Congratulations on the new WW Clippie thingey!!!

 Oops I never even thought of that Kevin, :faint:. You would to be really addicted to go that far ::yes::

Back again! :wave2: Thanks for the warm welcome back! This thread is like its own little haven away from all the other chaos!

Hollyann, do you think we could trade counters! I like yours much better although I'm trying to talk DH into a spur of the moment trip for the beginning of October. (October is spur of the moment for over-planners such as myself!) The only condition placed upon me is having MIL and FIL join us! I'm in withdrawls so bad right now that I'm actually considering it. Any ways to "lose" them in "the world" would be appreciated!! Please don't tell DH!!

Glad to hear the weather up north is so nice. It was cloudy with a really nice breeze but now the clouds have moved on and it is gorgeous. It inspired me to go out for awhile and make the trek to the Disney Store. I guess I need to start thinking about what I'm making for dinner tonight. Nothing sounds good but the kids need to eat! What's everyone else have planned for tonight?

My puter is in my bedroom. Since I have DSL, I don't turn off my PC, so posters beware, you never know when I'm watching!

We were going to grill hamburger patties and a salad.......but I got bored waiting for the charcoal to get up to snuff....

I started off juggling 3 (2 for me and 1 for her...)

....but the 3 beacame about 20 in a hurry....

I caught 3....but the 3 I caught woudn't make a good sandwich.... :(

not that there is anything wrong with my juggling I'll have you to know...

they don't make meat like they used to.....

so now...PA is nuking something in the microwave before the coals go cold....shaking her head from side to side..

Glad to hear from you HollyAnn!

(Can you hear Rick singing "I went to a Garden Party"? Cuz I can!)

well...glad you are feeling beter....

but..worried about that bad girl Frances..

she's packing a wallop last time I checked the Weather Channel....

so...get the battens ready to be hatched down....you know we'll be worrying about you....

Hello Again LuckyMommyx2! :wave2:

aaaah....a spur of the moment trip in October! One of my favorite times to be at WDW...we went both October 2002 and 2003...

next trip is this December....

Ahoy Cruisin' ! :boat:

well now...I could stop counting "incorrigibles" this month...if I wanted to.... but then...

how else would we know that you are leading 3 to 1 to 1 if I stopped counting?

HMMMMM?

Hi MMF! How goes it?

I guess I'm glad your PC DSL isn't lke a 2 way mirror.....

PSSSST! Hey Lurkers!

what are you guys having and /or juggling for supper?

I've decided on tacos. Nothing elaborate, but quick and easy. Speaking of...I need to run and throw in the mix before the turkeyburger get burnt!! Bye for now! :wave2:

I made a Low-Carb version of Emerald Isle Stew. Instead of Lamb, I used beef and instead of adding carrots & potatoes, I served the (basic beef & gravy) over sauteed green beans.

Yeah, it looks like Hurricane Frances is going to be a yucky one. Headed for the Jacksonville area - near as anyone can tell. We're pretty much prepared thanks to Charlie, but wish we didn't have to be!

:wave2: Luckymommy, There are tons of ways to lose people in the "world" , especially if they are "older" people and not quite as fast on their feet as us youngun's;) Just make sure that you find them again before you leave!!

It was just my son and I for supper tonight, so he went to Wendy's and picked us up some chicken fingers. I had a baked potato and he had frenchfries with his. I never used to like honey mustard dipping sauce, but I was telling my son that I have gotten used to it from going to Disney and eating it there:teeth:

Thanks for the clarification, Kevin. We will be watching out for sneak attacks from Mr.MouseFan, when we least expect them

Brer_Papa, it might be much easier to juggle those burgers if you used frozen ones. They might stay together a little better. But you had better juggle them quickly cause they would thaw out pretty quickly in your hot little hands ;) :teeth:

aww, Brer_Papa, you know you will miss me when I go away and am not here to call you "old", "incorrigible", "flirt" and all of the other little terms of endearment that are used to describe you :smooth:

Ann, you be careful with Frances. At least you will not have to go through this one alone. Tom will be home to keep you company and you two can :love2: together in the laundry room while the storm rages around you ;)

Please stay safe, because I am looking forward to meeting you and Tom in just 22 days :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hey Kim, can't wait to hear how your mom liked her birthday present!!

Yes, Luckymommy, you are right, this is a wonderful haven amid the chaos. Aren't you glad you decided to stop in and visit.:wave2:

Cruisin, it is very nice to have Tom around. However, I'm driving him crazy with my worries regarding this storm. He worries about these things much less than I do! Such is men I guess (no offense meant.........)

I hope this thing takes a northwardly track and just bounces around the eastcoast without hitting land fall - that's the one option they haven't listed! We'll keep a close eye on it and take it a day at a time.

Thanks for your concern. I can't wait to see you, too! If I have no house left from this storm, I'm going to have to skip the trip. That wouldn't be any fun! I agree with your hubby, though, I definately won't be taking my 50th birthday cruise during hurricane season. I talked to hubby and we decided between Thanksgiving and Christmas may be best!

Well, ya'll take care!

BTW, BP, when you were looking at your toes and noticed the fall leaves, were you standing around bare-foot or were you laying on your back with your feet in the air?

hmmm, yes, do tell, Brer_Papa, enquiring minds want to know ::yes::

Ann, if you have no house left due to the storm, then you will really, really, really NEED to go to the Magic Kingdom for a day to escape from the realities of life ;) ::yes::

that's 6 incorigibles this month!

aaaaah.....you juggling rookies......ANYBODY can juggle frozen patties....

now let me ask you a serious question....

yes...the pill must be wearing off....

but....which juggler would you clap harder for...

one who is juggling say....frozen bologna
slices...

or one who is juggling plain old floppy flappy slices of bologna?

uh huh.....i thought so....

you better believe I'm going to miss you while you're gone....

I'll probably get bored....and juggle everything not nailed down.....

I suppose that the rest of us here will have to make do....

I'll probably call myself "old" incorrigible" and "flirt" in between the Ricky Nelson songs I'll be singing while I'm rooting for the Cubs down the stretch wile the Warden keeps an eye on me while I keep an eye on the stars of "As the Thread-Killers Turn" as I juggle a candy dish, a box of kleenex and the cat in my hot little hands....

todays topic of thought:

has anybody made plans for the weekend?

we'll be going to the Great Stoneboro Fair Friday....and with some Grandkids on Saturday....

I will meet any and all Lurkers both days by the canning display in the building across from the Grandstand at 6 PM....

Sunday we are going to the Sparty Fair in Spartansburg to enter PA's crocheting........

Lurker Rendevous will be at the gazebo at 3....

Monday looks like a picnic at the farm...

Lurkers can PM me for directions....you can help me pick elderberries....if you want some...bring your basket....

we'll eat at noon and 5....(FREE FOOD ~~~ YAY!!) don't forget...my Sister is the best canner in the world....and an even greater cook....

Hay wagon ride at 3....

for the adventurous...we'll take a hike across the beaver dam at 3:30

<b><u>ALL</u></b> are invited...

speaking of toes...i know a girl that has 11....

speaking of 11 toes.....

observation # 11 dawned on me....

11. The Tag Fairies never visit here.

Hi everyone!

BrerPapa, my weekend plans are going to be fighting off Hurricane Frances. Ugh.....the weather has taken a lot of my time up this month! Do you realize that we've had eight hurricanes this month? This one will be the 4th one to hit Florida. Double yuk!

Anyway, you never did answer the toe questions, but I agree with your tag fairy observation. I've not been tagged.....I guess I haven't said anything clever enough to capture the attention of the fairies.

BTW, you never did answer the toe question. Exactly what angle were you looking at your toes? The fairs sound wonderful - have a great time. I guess we won't hear from you for a couple of days this weekend.

Gotta scoot. We had primary elections today and I want to see if any results are in!

Just a quick  to ya'll and a big :grouphug: I really need a good nights sleep.

I like your top 11 obvs. BP

I'm the princess: in the line up. And yes I want to own WDW BUT I would never, ever , treat anyone like just background scenery

Hey HollyAnn!

( I think Harriet had a secret crush on Hoss Cartwright)

You have said many many clever things here....it just shows the Tag Fair doesn't visit here....or your tags would be covering the whole left side....

plus...if they or the Mods did visit here...I'd probably get the boot! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I put my weekend plans on here to share with all...and....if you and Tom wanna take a hike up 95 to 26 to 77 to 19 to 79....get off the Mercer exit onto Route 62 south towards Stoneboro.

I'll meet you guys at the canning display....

HI MAMUDDUCK!

How you be?

aaaw...how kind of you to say you like my top 11 observations....we do smell good don't we?

Sleep well my Friend :cloud9: Pleasant Dreams....

I'm baaaaaaaccccckkkk!! (Scared ya, didn't I?)

Lots of posts since I left last night!

FIRST, I HAVE to say CONGRATULATIONS ANN! That new clippie looks MAHvelous on you!!!! :cool1: And I hope & pray that everyone/anything in Frances' way, stays safe and secure.

BP, a pill, huh? That's your excuse?!

This weekend, Sat., we're helping DBro & DSIL move into their new home, which they closed on today! DS, DD & I were the first ones to see it, completely empty, tonight after Mom's house! It has a lot of room for them to grow (niece is going to be 3, and nephew is due in December) ;) Full basement to be finished by my bro, he's soooo handy, as well as other things they want to do, as time goes on. VERY nice house, as it should be for nearly $400,000!!! :earseek: :earseek: (My neighborhood is outrageous!)

Sunday will be a recovery day, from the move. ;) Monday I'm going to a Cubs game with same DBro, DSil, and DSil's friend. I was sooo kind to relinquish my 2nd ticket so DSil's out-of-town friend could see her fave team in action! (Yes, I get  points for that) ;)

Back to today!!!! For those that care......The Bird, "Auggie", nickname for August, was a BIG HIT with Mom! She was very happy with Dad's choice of a gift, this time. ;) As she was with the Grease tickets, restaurant gift certificate, Packer stuff (that both DBro & I had given her - one duplicate), as well as the golf clubs, bag, Cubs golf balls & tees that middle Bro gave her. Lots of nice things. :teeth: We had broasted chicken, but NOT from the FAVE place - big mistake, but good enough. And the frosting of the cupcakes was fun for DD & DNiece. I used food coloring to make 4 different colors, and poor DNiece, was as colorful as the cupcakes!! She's a tom-boy, for sure! We looked at the very nice family pictures from the dinner/party 10 days ago, and watched a short video of the event as well, provided to my Mom by both her twin sister, and my cousin, sweeties they both are!

Enough jabbering? Good, I'm tired. ;)

:wave2: everyone, and WELCOME BACK luckymommyX2! Stick around, we LOVE to chat! ::yes:: :chat: :hyper2:

:upsidedow good evening everyone!!

Brer_Papa ........... I did NOT call you incorrigible, I just said that I would NOT be here to call you that while I was away ::yes::

I wish I could be a lurker and meet up with you at one of your fairs ............. wouldn't you be surprised then :p

Maybe it is a good thing the tag fairy does not visit here  . Could you just imagine what some of our tags would look like :earseek: It might be interesting trying to explain how they came about

Remember one time I shouted for the moderators to ask them if they ever visited the thread killers thread???? None of them answered, so I hope we are all safe from banishment :yo-yo:

Wendy, when you own WDW, can we all come and visit?????:hyper:

Kim, I am glad that your mom had a good birthday. Which bird did your dad pick??? The green one???

Hi, Kevin, Sarah, mamajoan, luckymommy, Ann, and all others who are out there lurking around tonight.

Now, I just hope this message posts!

Ah, ye of little faith. The great and powerful Tag Fairy does visit this thread! My tags are a living testament to the Tag Fairy's mystical powers here on the Thread Killers thread!

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: All hail the great and powerful Tag Fairy! :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Just a quick hello and goodnight to everyone! Gotta werk tomorrow. :crazy2: :faint: :faint: :guilty: :scared: :worried: :scared1:  :sad1: :sad2: :badpc:

So you got all of your tags from remarks made on the thread killers thread, Kevin???

The tag fairies could have a field day with all of the material available on this thread !!!!!!

I hope you have fun going back to work ;)
