Good morning, everybody!

First, I have to apologize for not posting the last couple of days. I've been taking a look at my priorities, and realized I've been spending too much time sitting in front of a computer. Sooooo...

If I'm not around every day to start the exercise thread, will you all be able to take up the reins? I know you will, since you WISHers are the most dedicated folks EVER! :smooth:

Had a superb day yesterday - tried my new Pilates DVD for the first time. This feels like something I could definitely get used to!!! Yay, new exercise!!! :Pinkbounc (And who thought I would ever say that?)

So what did YOU do yesterday? With kids going back to school, a lot of us have different schedules than we did for summer. Is this making it easier or harder to get active? Tell it here!!! :teeth:

THANK YOU for all the motivation, inspiration and plain ol' good feelings you bring to my life! WISHers are truly the best folks!!!

Have an awesome day, all!

Daisy;)

I just did the 1 mile WATP but I added weights for the first time so hopefully it still did me some good.

That was all the exercise I could muster after a surprise visit from my in-laws and their spontaneous decision to take us to Outback for dinner. That would have been great if I was on Atkins but that place is NOT WW friendly!

Hey! After a week of not exercising (bad girl) I was back on the treadmill and walked 1 1/2 miles! It felt sooooo good...got rid of some tension too!

Gotta go the TM is calling to me.......................

Have a great day ya'll!

I walked 11/2 miles and 75 crunches and 50 leg lifts.I still did not feel good yesterday but i mustered up enough energy to do that much.:p
Misty

I did the 3 mile WATP tape - really wanted to quit after 1.5 miles, but managed to make it through.

Have a great day!

Haven't been posting much lately. Between kids starting back to school (homeschooling, so that takes a lot of my time) and contractors in and out (new well pump/tank, new pool liner, new roof, etc etc) I haven't had a lot of time to post. Luckily, I've still MADE the time to exercise!! :)

Yesterday I did my 30 minutes at Curves in the a.m. and then the 3 mile WATP video in the p.m. I'm feelin' lean and mean today! :)

Keep up the good work everyone. Know that if I'm not here posting, I'm still thinking about you all and rooting you on! :)

I did the 2 mile WATP's and then I did my sets of let and arm work on the Total gym. I'm starting to notice the muscle forming...woohoo!!!

I was going to do the 3 mile WATP's on the days in between my total gym workouts, but I am not quite up for that again (I did it Tuesday and it kicked my butt), so I think I'll do 2 sets of the 2 mile...one now and one this afternoon. I'm thinking that in the longrun, that's better anyway...get that metabolism moving again in the afternoon when it gets sluggish...I hope!

As a side note, my 11 yearl old DS told me yesterday that I have made him want to exercise more (he's a stick) and he did the 1 mile WATP and then did some exercises on the total gym. My 9 year old DS followed suit! Now, if only I could get them to eat healthier!

Karen :smooth:

As usual, 2 mile WATP.

I am trying to decide between buying the 3 mile or Pilates, what do you all think? Which do you like more?

Of course, if I buy Pilates I might add it in, if I buy 3 mile WATP, I"ll probably do it instead. HMMMMMMM.......

Good to see you back, Daisy. And I'm glad your absence was nothing more than changed priorities. :) I'm sure we can take up the reins when you can't make it. :D

I did the same thing last night that I did the night before: 1 mile WATP (no weights yet) and 2 runs through the Tai Chi for Beginners set. And I ordered the next DVD in the Tai Chi series so we'll see how I like that one. I've heard some good reviews about that DVD, and some bad, so I hope it's as good as the first one.

I was so proud of myself yesterday for two reasons. First I finally did the 2 mile WATP for the first time since vacation. Second is that I actually got in some exercise yesterday. Last night was my first night of LLM classes and my plan was to exercise in the hour and a half I have between coming home from work and having to leave for class. I actually got home from work and changed into workout gear and did the tape! Of course I was interrupted twice by phone calls from my DH2B who was out of town - a 30 min tape turned into 45 mins to complete.

I'm feeling great! I walked for 40 minutes in the morning, and worked out at Curves after work. 16 days in a row!

I did a yoga video, and the power ball video-one of those big bouncy balls you use for "core" exercises. It was pretty cool, I could definately feel the pain in my "core". Feels great to be exercising again!:p

I did my pilates before work. I have really been meaning to get more in but the days have been long and hectic. By the time I could exercise again it is too dark outside. My goal is to get a new video or DVD this weekend after I get home from mom's cabin. I would like to try the WATP. Hopefully I will get it soon.

Daisy - you have been so dedicated to posting this thread everyday! I am sure that we all understand that you need to take some time away from the computer. We are all able to start the tread up if we don't see yours so don't worry! Thanks for all of your dedication to this for us!!!
