Not this year, anyway! I do wish Toronto or Montreal had made it in to the playoffs, though. I felt really bad for Toronto when the Islanders won on Sunday.

Nope hockey as far as teh NHL is over for me now once the HABS are done I no longer watch the NHL playoffs. I am now pulling for our U-18 team at teh worlds and also for our men at the Worlds after last night when the women spanked the YANKS 5-1 it was a great start to our international tournament run.

Historicly though the Sens choke in teh second game after winning their opener good luck hopefully they can beat CINDY Crosby and the Pengus.

Keep in mind that there are only 2 players on the team that have been to all 10 playoffs with the Sens: Alfredsson and Redden. What they did before is irrelevant to what they do now.

Also, I ,personally have a real problem with categorizing the Sens as having "choked" in last year's playoffs. The games they lost to Buffalo in the second round were ALL one goal games, hardly a "choke"!

What I was saying is that in game 2 of each series after they win game 1 they choke and lose that second game mind you the Sens have certainly choked in just about every year of the playoffs when you look at the teams they have had and how everyone pegged them to go to the finals. My HABS choked against the Laffs last Saturday but the Sens chke in every season of the playoffs good luck to them but I won't put much stock in them doing much this season in the playoffs either. I figure the Sabres are going to bring home the cup this year if they can remain healthy.

my son is a huge Ottawa fan.....me however.....only if it is the last Canadian team standing. Don't like Alfredson never want him to get a ring....sorry. I do like the team in general and I think they have a good chance. He now has a job and wanted to by a Ottawa jersey, I told him if he bought a Alfredsons, he had to move out..... I finally let him by a Spezza.

I am true blue, much suffering leaf fan.....uugggghh but since I know they never have a shot, my back up team is Calgary. Love my Dion......

I think Vancouver has a great chance as well.

As a true Leafs fan I will never cheer for Ottawa no matter the situation, so I hope they never win the cup even if they are Canada's last team left in the playoff's.

My red sweater is in the wash now, and my husband and son went to Sports Experts because they have 30% of on Sens jerseys. This game is probably going to end up costing me close to $500 by the time they buy jerseys, pay for parking, probably have something to eat, etc. The tickets were $280!
