Who else is waiting for 2007 AAA Discount Rates?

Seems like it is taking forever for the discounted rates to come out -- First AAA said June (I put a deposit down in February), then July and now it seems to become indefinite.....has anyone heard when they are supposed to come out?

I was thinking the AAA rates for 07 would be out this month. When I called AAA and spoke to a travel specialist he said they would have tem in August. I don't know how reliable that information is but he seemed fairly sure.

I made a reservation last week at the Boardwalk Inn for our trip in January. I am looking forward to applying the AAA discount to my current rack rate!

Cool - I heard the same thing , when calling Disney Reservations -- you seem to get different answers though.

Just a thought on this- I wonder if Disney is waiting until August to put out the AAA codes, because if you are going in December, you can't book a room until 500 days out, or right around the first week of August?

Again, might be coincidence, but the dates seem to match up?

Talked w/our AAA TA on Friday and she said packages and AAA rates will probably be out in August. We have a basic package ressies for CSR in May 2007. Can't wait - we've always gone to POR and loved it but wanted to try something new.

I am also waiting to see if the All Star Family Suites will be included this time. I know in 2006 you couldn't use ANY discounts on them. My DH looked at the layout last night and decided that he wanted to look into those - first opinion he's given me on this trip! Seems he has been worried about how we will put DD to sleep without having to go to bed at 7:30 ourselves!

Booked our basic package for 2/2007 at Pop Century. Our triple A agent also told us packages will be out in August. I hope so, the wait is getting to be to long.

I'm waiting here too. Booked room only at POR for May 2007 back in February. AAA agaent was told July or Auguast for packacges. She contacted my on July 5th about switching to a basic package, but I'm, just going to wait and switch everything all at once. Disney told her a couple of weeks at that point, but I'm not holding my breath for anything before August 1.

Waiting...but no worries! The AAA rates will arrive eventually!

In the meantime, I spoke with our AAA TA today and she indicated that the AAA packages would be out in early August. We have the basic package booked at POR for May 2007.

We'll be there May 23-31, 2007. This will be our first time staying at POR so we're extremely excited!!!

We are waiting too! We have room only for 7/07 at the ASMusic and am really hoping to get a good rate with AAA. This is a BIG family trip and I'm hoping the $$ off helps out some family members who are going. They are all first timers too (except us!) !
