Who else is scared EVERY TIME by Dinosaur?!!!

I'm 25 years old, I've been on every ride in Disney without a problem...EXCEPT dinosaur! IT SCARES THE OUT OF ME EVERY TIME! I know when it happens, where it happens and I even get myself looking in the direction ready for when it does, but however much I prepare myself I still scream like a little child every single time lol and yes, I'm very ashamed lol

Please tell me other people have this too (people over 10 if at all possible)

Oooo Haunted Mansion is another EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

I'm 27 and Dinosau scares me every time too!! I have to close my eyes at the very end sometimes...the picture usually turns out hilarious!!

Yes, I find Dinosaur that scary as well.

I've been on it before, but last time we went to WDW the rest of my family went also. I tried to tell my mom how scary I thought it was and she laughed...until we got on the ride in which she screamed the whole time!

Im 42 and I pretty much ride this ride with my eyes closed!!!! The pictures are always hilarious, but I never buy them--too expensive!! Snow White also scares my DD18, but HM has never bothered me!! Just the crazy Dinosaur ride!!

Thank goodness your Daughter is scared by Snow White too...I feel much better now lol

I always have my eyes closed on Dinosaur!! I hate things that jump out at you! Mind you I LOVE Jurassic Park river adventure at Universal.....

As for Snow White - I completely forgot about seeing the scary wicked queen until I went on it a couple of years ago and SCREAMED so loudly!!

LOL when DH and went in 2000 and rode it we had these teenaged boys in the car with us. When the Dinosaur came out the guys screamed "WE'RE GONNA DIE!" We were all laughing. Then when we saw our pic at the end, DH and I are sitting there like "oh. a dinosaur." and the guys behind us are hamming it up for the camera.
That being said, the dino did startle me the first time DH and I rode it alone. After that ride we got right back on and that is when the teens joined our car.

I tried that ride one more time on this last trip and I still hate it. Too dark, too herky jerky, and too scary.

I was never scared on it. In fact, in my ride photo from my first time, I have a positively delighted expression on my face, like I am meeting my teen idol, or am being presented with a Publisher's Clearing House check. I wish I had bought that photo - it was great!

I can't even tell you any scenes from the ride since I ride it with my head nearly in my lap.

I like to scream a little here and there on rides like EE and ToT, but this last time riding Dinosaur I actually screamed in TERROR twice, and I had already ridden it! The scariest at WDW, IMO!

The last time I was at AK the rest of my family rode it and I passed. Not sure why, but I don't like being startled too much by things jumping out at me either and just had a hunch that it wasn't the right time to ride it.

I saw this one poor kid come out of there RUNNING for daylight. His parents were chasing after him trying to calm him down. He kept screaming, through tears, "It's real! It's real! It's real!"

Dinosaur is the scariest ride at WDW BY FAR!!! It beats even TOT millions of times over. It's still my 3rd favorite ride, it's awesome. Seond is Splash, first is TOT.

WOW ! Good to know I'm not the only scaredy cat over 40! My DH loves to buy the pictures just so we can laugh at them later!! Don't think we have one that has my face visible!!!! Every time we ride this one I say "I'm not gonna close my eyes" but as soon as the ride starts all I see is the back of my eyelids! I know is all fake but it still SCARES the pixie dust out of me!!!

But I love it . My 8 year also loves it but she is terrified of Mickey Mouse.

I think it is the great sound effects that does it for me.
