The spirits aren't for her! They are for mom and dad-it's our vacation, too! I do want to cut costs, if possible. Thank you for all your suggestions! I felt the club level would be good to get a quick breakfast and since she'll be in bed relatively early....mom and dad could enjoy some wine on the balcony or patio if that's what we decide to do. I'll look into the AAA discount! : )

If you wants the drinks you could order them from the garden grocer and use the fridge in your room. Thats what I do but I'm cheap!

Someone on another thread brought up a good point. Why would they hold back rooms for a discount when they can offer them at full price and have people book them. Just like you, I am hoping for a discount for the summer as well, but I don't feel very confident like I have felt in previous years!!!!!

Believe me Disney is not going to hold rooms so they can offer them at a discount. What they will do is, if rooms are not booking at the rate they hope for; then they will offer some type of discount.

I mean after all they do want to fill rooms at the highest possible rate.

5,000 bucks for 5 nights/6 days...it would really be nice to get that 40% back that I originally had when I booked the trip-lost it when I rebooked w/ different date.

I'm excited about the trip but, really not sure a Disney trip is worth that kind of money. It's our first trip-just my H, myself and our 3.5 yr old daughter.

ETA-where are y'all scouting out the deals? disney.com?

OUCH! Would it be possible for me to borrow your printer-thats a LOT of green backs! We were in WDW last Nov.13-23-$2300 for 10 nights at Pop Century with DDP for family of four DW,DD'S(5,6),and myself;paid an additional $240 to upgrade the free QSDP.You will be able to save a lot of moulah if you change to a value resort-you plan on just sleeping,showering,and maybe hanging out a little in the room right?Why waste so much money for somewhere to"hang you hats" for the night?All of the action is in the parks,not in the rooms!!!I always tell my wife"I would'nt pay for Deluxe accomodations even IF we could afford it" Just a monumental waste of our hard earned money.If it's really that important to go"Deluxe",go for it;either way,have a fantastic vacation!!!
