I HATE winter, especially the dark mornings and evenings, so depressing! ..not to mention the snow and bitter winds we're having too.

Count me in on this one...I live in the South for reason...I have been cold all day and am finally getting warm...The heater in the house is on 70 right now and I have a space heater blowing at my feet...But, it does not even seem to be touching the cold...


Getting ready to turn the heater down to 65 and crawl in bed with a couple of blankets...

I can't wait for spring. The weather in Central Florida is out of control. I went to the Orange Bowl to see my Hawkeyes and ended up witnessing the coldest Orange Bowl in history. Now we have ice in Central Florida. Tonight down to 26.

Spring needs to get here quick.

Me too! The darkness doesn't bother me, but I'm tired of the snow and freezing cold temperatures.

And in the spring we can start going back up to our property, to camp and relax. That is what I'm looking forward to most about warm weather coming back.

Yep, add me to this list. Hate winter with a passion. Spring can not get here fast enough!! I have been begging DH for years to move someplace warmer. I am so miserable when this time of the year rolls around and the worst part is it seems like it lasts the longest. We skipped spring for 2009 and hardly had a summer. Then here we go again, winter. no did not forget fall since it hardly was here either.

Stitchfans, I'm with you! Last summer was so cool, we could barely use our pool! January just always seems like the looooongest month ever! I hate it!

Sorry for everyone suffering through the cold temperatures. Been there, done that, so I know what it's like.

I'd just like to say that if anyone truly hates the cold weather and really, really wants to live where it's warm, then do it! Of course, not everyone can pack up and move tomorrow, but honestly, you can make the change if it's something you really want to do. It could be years down the road, but it can be done!

We made the move to a much warmer climate (after many, many years in New England) and we are loving it. The summers here are HOT eek but the rest of the year is unbelievable. I still marvel at waking up to sunshine almost every single day, wearing flip flops year-round, grilling and dining out, riding bikes in the middle of winter... heck, just sitting outside and letting the sun beat down on me!

We do not take this weather for granted. We know what it is like to freeze your you-know-what off for months at a time and not feel the warmth of the sun. Hang in there, spring is coming!
