So before I signed up for touringplans, I got all my info off easywdw.com. Now I'm comparing the two, and for at least our first day, they seem to be totally conflicting each other.

For example - EasyWDW says that on 8/4 the least recommended park is DHS. Yet on touringplans.com they only give the crowd level for that park a 4 - The lowest of all the parks.

Now, DHS has evening EMH till midnight that night, so I'm assuming that is why Easywdw is saying to stay away. We are planning on getting there for RD, and then being far away by the evening hours, so thats not an issue for us personally....

But its still making we wonder/worried - Who should we listen to??

I've already made all of the FP+ options and ADRs, so I can't change at this point anyway.... More curious for our next trip :goodvibes

There was just a thread on this. I think Easy WDW came out on top, but you can check here:

You don't have to assume; Josh (the guy who writes easywdw) tells you why to avoid the non-recommended parks, and evening EMH is the reason he gives for avoiding DHS on 8/4. I'm curious though as to why you would go to an EMH park when you don't plan to stay during the EMH hours. Since the EMH parks are busier, I don't see a reason to go to those parks if you're not going to take advantage of those extra hours.

I have always been a fan of Touringplans but EasyWDW is a popular choice on the boards.

Beyween the DIS and either of these choices you will be well prepared for a WDW trip :thumbsup2

As the other thread shows this is a bit like which colour is best blue or red :goodvibes

For several reasons

#1 - DHS is our family tradition first day park. Its not written in stone, but its nice to keep doing that.
#2 - I was looking at touringplans when I decided everything, and they said its the lowest crowd level day.
#3 - MK is also open till midnight that night, so that kind of evens out the playing field, so to say, and splits the crowd between the two parks.
#4 - At first, I hadn't planned on doing any TS ADRs so I had originally planned on being there late, hence taking advantage of the evening EMH. Now we have a dinner planned at GF, but ya never know - Plans could change! I could change, and go to a different park, but that would mean getting new (with poor times) FP+ and I'm not up for that.
