Who did you go to Disney with the first time?

I went to Grad Night at Disneyland with my ex-husband in 1973.

My first trip to Disney was in 1986 and I was 2 years old. I went with my parents and my grandparents.

My honeymoon, in 1997, when I was 20. We're taking our boys on their first trip next month, they will be 3 and 1.

I really appreciate that we are able to take our kids. My grandparents raised me, and they sacrificed so much so I could have the things I did (expensive clothes, shoes, "stuff", etc.), but they couldn't afford a trip like Disney, nor was my grandpa in any kind of health to go; he has an inner ear problem, and gets extremely dizzy in crowds. Too bad I didn't realize until I got married exactly how much they did give up for me, and they didn't have to.

Christmas 1974 (or maybe 1973) with my parents and younger brother (first trip to WDW for all of us), and my maternal grandparents (they had been several times already). VERY SPECIAL trip! My grandparents brought along all of their left over "tickets" from previous trips and let my brother and I use them all, along with the tickets we bought! We saw the Space Mountain was almost ready to open.... I had to wait many years before I rode it! We stayed at the CONTEMPORARY! Lucky us! In the tower!! I remember being astounded at the height of the Christmas Tree that was near the flagpole area on Main Street. It was probably 25 feet tall or more!

Second trip was spring of 1983 while in college... went down with my parents and brother during spring break time.... saw Epcot for the first time. And I SWEAR that they were advertising that an AFRICA pavilion was in the works.... wonder what ever happened. ......................P
