The resort front desk staff. If they are using the "room ready" method, the room is assigned as you are checking in.

I believe they keep a dart board in back of the check in desk with all of the requests on it. When you check in, they blindfold each other and throw a few darts to see where you end up. Handicapped-smoking rooms with a view of the dumpster are the center circle on the dart board.

The last few trips when I arrive they tell me of the rooms available that meet my requests and let me pick the one I like. It has been many trips since a room was not ready when we checked in.

The do bother to have several dart boards - so if you book a studio they pull out the studio dart board, only people booking two bedrooms get the two bedroom dart board. The even have a Boardwalk view dart board.....
