Who are the other Clay fans here?

Count me as a huge Clay Aiken Fan! Can't wait for him to release his 1st CD, because I will definitely be buying it!

I'm not buying for a minute that "4% spread" they talked about the other night.

I think Ruben's being pushed because Clay has been running away with the competition from the start, and they want to make it look like it's a contest. Wouldn't be as exciting if everyone just said "Oh, OK - Clay's going to win." JMHO

I have been a Clay fan from his audition, I have never waivered, not for a second. I told everyone that if Clay was voted offf I would never watch another AI again. I tried to vote for 1 1/2 hours and only got through 1 time, I get on www.claytonaiken.com everyday and listen and watch his video clips, I'm addicted. Last night I boo-hooed for the whole end of the show first from stress, then from happiness, then from watching his hugging and crying for Kimberly. He truly melted my heart last night. He is so genuine and it shows what kind of man he is. And he said that his Mom was his AI on Tuesday's show. He is the man of many a woman's fantasies.

Thanks to your post, I went to www.claytonaiken.com and noticed the bit about the Top 20 American Idol websites. I thought it interesting that of the top 20; 8 were Clay and only 1 for Ruben and of the top 40; 15 were for Clay and 2 for Ruben.
I also loved the name of the Clay site "Adorkable" - I think that
is such a cute description for him.

It's interesting that you used the word "genuine" because the other day on the Bolt boards (the official boards for American Idol), one of the threads was to describe Clay in one word....I was the first one to reply and my answer was "genuine."

I think Ruben is genuine as well. However, I always feel like his mother should be beside him holding his hand. He reminds me of a four or five year old child with his very innocent and naive expressions.

Regarding Ruben, one thing that struck me is when we saw Ruben during his visit home.

IMHO, he was pretty full of himself while he was home. He said something to the effect of "when I win, I'll come back and sing for you all again"

He was completely enjoying the attention and looked like he's been a star for some time in the limo!

But at the show, he looks all quiet and humble.

I heard that too. It would just be nice to have an Idol that is involved with his community and disabled kids. That is an image that would be a breath of fresh air in the music industry. To say nothing of Clays wonderful voice!!

I'm not bashing Reuben here , I liked him from the beginning but I think the media hype has soured me on him and I admit I'm no longer objective.

I swear I got an ulcer the other night during the results show, I was so nervous that Clay would get voted off! I just love him, I voted at least 75 times the other night, I lost count! I'll be doing the same next week, I'll probably end up in the loony bin on Wed.! He just has to win!!!!!

Its so nice to have other people obsessed like me. My mothers day present from DS15 was a cd of clay songs he downloaded. He has some wonderful Christian music and full length songs on mp3. Best present I ever got.

Clay's got my vote. At least, he would if I could get through. I tried for two hours last Tuesday, got through twice! I think he's very popular in the Mountain time zone. I have to say, I liked him even in his geeky days, when his hair was red and his ears were sticking out. Made me want to adopt him. Diana

I really like Clay. I felt from the beginning that he has "something" that the others don't have. I will buy his first CD whether he wins or not.

His voice is like heaven and he is so humble. Clay is just a fantastic young man.

I don't understand either all the pushing of AI of Reuban. He has a decent voice, but I could hear it cracking alot this past show. I wonder if he can make it through the tour without voice problems.

There is just no question who should be the next American Idol- Clay Aiken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just an FYI from another Clay site. Yahoo posted a pre-order for Clays Single CD due out June 3. They track popularity and he started in the thousands and is now ranked #14 by passing Madonna and Kelly Clarkson. Very interesting!!
