Who are the other Clay fans here?

I love Clay and tried to vote for him all night but only got through about 10 times...

I can't believe all the hupla over Ruben. I don't get it. I'm afraid he will win but I'm rooting and voting for Clay.

My DH thought Kim did the best last night then Clay and then Ruben. He was trying to steal the phone to vote for Kim but I won!

He said sometimes Clay yells too much like in that Vinncent song last night and he couldn't imagine listing to a whole CD of his! Well, my DH had to sleep on the couch for that!

ME ME ME!! I bet you couldn't tell I'm a Clay fan! I'm with a lot of other people, I absolutely love Clay, and don't understand the big deal about Ruben. Everyone I know is hoping for a Clay/Kim final.

I was hooked..he was my pick from the very first nite..I waited and watched until he was the wild card pick..and I have sat here everytime it's been on just waiting to see and hear him..now it's down to Ruben and Clay..and next week I am keeping the phone on speed dial for voting for Clay!

Count me in as a HUGE Clay fan!! I thought he was great in the auditions and have been following him ever since. I still can't figure out why the judges and the media are so pro Ruben. It's like they've crowned him "AI" already. Ruben is a good singer but his songs all sound the same. Clay, on the other hand, is far more versatile. Unchained Melody just gave me chills. My DH and I voted for two solid hours last night--using two phone lines--and only got through 73 times. We'll be doing the same next week and hoping we're more successful.

GO CLAY - ALL THE WAY!! I love him! He has such amazing stage presence...much of which Ruben is lacking, if you ask me. Ruben sings well too, but has no variety. Clay is wonderful and deserves to be the AMERICAN IDOL!!!

I was a Kimberly fan -- still am -- and I'm very bummed to see her voted out.

However...GO CLAY!!!

I do not understand why the judges bow to Ruben so much. I agree that his voice cracked several times Tuesday night, yet he was crowned as "superb" by Simon. Also, Ruben does this repetitive thing with his left arm/hand that drives me and DH nuts.

The worst thing about Ruben to me? He never, ever looks Ryan in the eye when Ryan interviews him. That shows lack of class IMHO.

Well..........if I'm not considered a fan, there is no sense in this world of ours! Last night I was on pins and needles until the end of the show. I told dh that if Clay was voted out, I wouldn't watch the rest of American Idol. Okay, okay........that sounds juvenile......but that's how I felt last night. I really like Ruben too, but my passion is for Clay. That voice! That smile! GO CLAY!

CJK, that's how I feel too....I see a lot of messages on boards from Clay fans really attacking Ruben and I like him even though my passion is definitely for Clay.

I'm a huge Clay fan too. I really think he is the most talented, and I hope he wins. I think Ruben seems like a really great guy too, but I don't see the big deal about his voice. It's very good (about a million light years better than mine, LOL!), but I don't see what all the fuss is about. I agree with another poster who said that the judges seem to be trying to push Ruben on everyone. I think they are really trying to get people to vote for Ruben for some reason. I think it's a little unfair, but then show business is unfair. Regardless of who wins, I think all of the top 3 will have successful careers.
