Who all is going during Labor Day Weekend?

We will be down there for part of Labor day weekend...checking in 8/22 and out 9/1!

My DD likes to dress up almost like Fancy Nancy so I am sure you will notice her. We have 6:45 dinner reservations for that night. Do you think I should change those if you will be at the tea for over 1.5 hours?

Nah, the thing about the tea is that they give you enough food to make you feel satisfied, it doesn't make you stuffed (at least for us it doesn't). But then again it also depends what type of tea package you get too. I get the Buckingham Palace Tea package which has the tea sandwiches (which are very small), scone and jam, an onion tart (one of the best things on the plate), and then for dessert I always pick 2 pastries off of the tiered pastry plate. If you don't want pastries, you can choose the fresh cut strawberries with whip cream which look amazing....my DD8 loves that dessert. With all that, I would think that you would be fine with your dinner at 6:45pm.

Thanks for reassuring that we should be good with our other reservations. An onion tart, never tried one. Are they sweet?

No problem, anything for a fellow DISer . The onion tart is sooooo good . It is a little round pastry with caramelized onions (they are very sweet). It kind of reminds me of eating a small dose of french onion soup, but not as messy . If you like French Onion Soup, then you will definitely like the onion tart .

I do love French Onion Soup, so I can't wait to try it over Labor Day.

Great a Labor Day thread, DH and I are booked over Labor Day weekend, Friday to Monday, just waiting for the okay from his supervisor, but it shouldn't be a problem.

We are booked at the AoA Cars Suite, since I was able to get a military discount. This is a once in a lifetime stay in that room, they are almost as much as a Deluxe room and we don't need that much space, but since Dh's birthday is the week before, I splurged.

We are only going to make up the less than magical trip from early June, that my in-laws ruined.

I know, Dh is excited, more so than I am, but it will be nice to see what they look like. I will try my best. I just got my camera back after dropping it in DHS in January. I didn't take it in June and glad I didn't, it was too rainy.

Late August has become our favorite time to go to Disney. According to touring plans.com crowds are low (1-6 out of 10). We've gone during spring break and early summer but it's just too crowded. We are staying at the poly this time ... Our second year in a row. It's such a great resort! 50 days and counting!

Has anyone ever had water/groceries delivered to BLT? I read that if have packages sent UPS via Wal-Mart the Contemporary charges an additional $10 fee. Does anyone know if that is true with BLT too? Or should I just use Garden Grocer? I have never ordered water/groceries before a trip. Also when should I place an order for our August arrival?

No, I haven't looked lately, Dh still hasn't been approved to be off on Sunday night, so we may be a no go . I hate waiting this late on something like this, at least we have a room only we can cancel and get our money back.
