White Pass Railroad - AM or PM

Booking excursions for my Alaska cruise and I'm going to book the White Pass Railroad excursion. I'm wondering if anyone has any input on whether its better first thing in the morning (7:45) or if the lunchtime (11:30/12:15) options are better or if it doesn't matter at all.
