I was standing on the corner waiting to cross the street this morning on the way to work and a man standing next to me was whistling away. :D

It brought back great memories of my wonderful Dad who used to whistle all the time, whether working in the garden, puttering around the house, caring for his orchids, etc.

I started thinking that I do not hear many men whistle anymore. DH will do it when he is thinking of a song he wants to play on his guitar, but that is about it.

Any of you out there whistle just to whistle a happy tune "whenever"?

That would be me....and...as an added bonus...I can whistle while INhaling ter! :teeth: :)

Only if I'm alone or if my kids are with me. I might get put in a straighjacket if I whistle in front of people.

I can't whistle!! :( :(

I guess I'm retarded or something! :(

I think whistling is a lost art. Actually, the only whistle I do is a loud, sharp one usually very effective for getting DS's attention when he is down the street or blasting music in his room. Not very "lady-like" but it works:D
