This may sound like a silly question, but it's our first time using the DDP and visiting Whispering Canyons.We are a party of 8. Just wondering if we all can order something different for dinner or do we all have to order the skillet if somebody wants it? Also can we order the bottomless milkshakes as a non alcoholic beverage

They have an a la carte menu, you can choose your entree from the menu. The skillet is just one entree option.
In the past the bottomless milkshake was available as a non-alcoholic beverage, I'm not sure if anything has changed.

Yes folks can order whatever they choose, the do not have to all get the skillet. But be aware, that if the skillet is on the table, and someone takes something from it - even just a taste - they will be charged the entire price for the skillet plus whatever their own entrée is.
No sharing of the skillet, other than those who ordered it, is allowed.

Gosh that's hard to believe, if they have also ordered an entree. Thank you for Making us aware of that. I just presumed as with most restaurants if you ordered something you could share it with others at the table

I've ordered the skillet for just me and my son has ordered a la carte and he's had a bit off my skillet too, no issues. I didn't need a refill of anything on the skillet though, but it was offered. I can't imagine they would give you much of a hard time about it unless it's obvious the table is taking advantage (i.e.one person ordering the skillet and asking for multiple refills while the rest of the table is obviously eating from it).

The problem is that the skillet is all you care to eat. Which means that you could share enough to request a refill. The skillet has a per person price.
