whispering canyon

If you enjoy having fun and being silly at meal times then this is the place for you.Ask for ketchup, you get plenty of ketchup, ask for a large coke thats what you'll get. You'll have pony rides, you can draw on the table cloth and you get lots of good ol fashioned bbq food.
If you order the skillet you will get as much pulled pork, beans, mash, chicken fries and coleslaw as you can eat:)
Its NOT fine dining, and most certainly NOT a place to go for a quiet meal, but if you want to see the kids have a blast then its a must do:thumbsup2

thanks guys just looked on you tube, haha looks so much fun definitely going to book :) The boys will have so much fun especially asking for ketchup lol

thanks again

Wear a SeaWorld/Universal t-shirt, sometimes that gets noticed ;)
It also gets fun if you keep re-ordering drinks..:rotfl:

My wife and I booked a meal there on our last trip (mainly to check out the resort) and we were tired after a long day of park hopping, so it took us a while to get into the spirit of the place.
But when you do, it's pretty fun.

We're a couple with no kids, and we still got a small fork laid out on our table. When my wife asked for a larger one to eat her dinner with the waitress brought out one that must have been 4ft long!

The milkshakes are delicious too! :thumbsup2

If I'm being honest the food wasn't the greatest when we went last year, but that's missing the point, this is all about the experience. The kids were a bit shocked to get straws thrown on the table when the drinks arrived, but that was as tame as it got! Brilliant fun, games and involvement galore for everyone, and one of those Disney moments where you just need to join in, a fantastic experience and a good example of what Disney gets so right.

We had evening meal there (we don't do table service for lunch)
We all enjoyed the food but glad we were out of the main hall in the little room at the back, not our sort of place to eat in the middle of the main hall. Matt had to get dessert to go we were so full. :goodvibes

We have eaten there a couple of times. Typical ribs n chicken srtyle food served in all you can eat skillets. The CM are loud and interact with diners, great fun for kids but not for those wanting something quiet and restrained.

I'm with a member of the podcast team..."you would be better putting your money into a pile and setting fire to it". We were very unimpressed with the food and after a while the noise of the place became uncomfortable.

We enjoyed looking around the Wilderness Lodge but would put our $150 to better use ;)
