Are reservations necessary for Whispering Canyon or can you get in easily in low season without them? We would like to go but really don't want to be tied down to a specific time. Thanks

WCC isn't wildly popular but I suggest that you do make an adr.

With free dining in full swing in the "off season" it makes it very difficult to eat anywhere without a adr.

WL is very easy to get to from MK. I would just go ahead make the adr for the day you are at MK and it won't seem like you are tied down. It is a relaxing boat ride to WL, eat and then head back to the park if you wish. It is easy to do.

When we went to WDW last year, we were told that we did have to make ADRs for Whispering Canyon. Even with the ADR we waited 40 min. to be seated.

We've always had to wait a long time past our ADR times at Whispering Canyon. We've also seen walk ups turned away every time we've been there.
