Well....we were there a week or so ago, for lunch. My dd, 16, gave attitude right back to our server. This is the result...

She had such a good time....you could see the kids at surrounding tables just cringing in terror as dd was dragged through the restaurant. Man, they sure behaved after that!! The servers do seem to figure out, quickly, who they can mess with and who best to leave alone. My dd welcomes the 'fun' and gives back as good as she gets. Rusty (Raoul) seemed to have a ball playing with her!!!

Our oldest DD will be having her 11th birthday in WCC on 10/5. We can't wait for that.

When she was about 3 we ate there. Between being the end of a long day, and all the noise in the restaurant, she got extremely cranky and started crying uncontrollably in the middle of our meal. The servers did everything they could to help calm her down. Finally a CHEF came out! He brought with him this giant stuffed doll dressed like a chef and sat it at our table with the three of us. It was about the size of a 3 year old child. It was hilarious. DD calmed down a little when she saw how funny the stuffed chef was, and then decided she didn't care for it and started bawling again. I actually got out the video camera at that point and that video is one I still love to watch.

But it was loud enough in there that no one noticed except the servers, who were trying to cheer her up. It didn't work, but I sure gave them an "A for effort."

Whispering Canyon, Gotta love it, loud or not, Awesome Food, Great service, we even had the Chef come to our table and chat with us, and share some of his recipes.Love this place

We love WCC. I have to say it is one of our favorites and a "must do" every trip. The food has never been terrible. Call me crazy, but I really like the meatloaf. I love this place because it is a little louder...my kids are loud. I can actually relax here and not worry about trying to keep my kids quiet, which is impossible. We also love the funny antics. Yelling for "KETCHUP" is a highlight for my daughter. I highly recommend this place for families with kids or anyone who wants a fun dining experience.

It's very loud - the servers yell a lot of things, there's a stick pony race, there are some things that go on that involve people running around the restaurant (don't want to give away all the surprises), they usually have the restaurant singing happy birthday to people, etc. Believe me, it's usually loud.

It's equal parts entertainment and dinner - but it's not a show, like with a stage.

Does all this happen at lunch too? We could only get lunch ressies!

Yes at lunch too! We always do lunch. We love this place...ask for a fork! DGP hid DGD's age 13 fork and then had her ask for another......we still ask her where her fork is!

Every time I read the reviews about this place, I get sad. I have very sensitive hearding (I carry ear plugs around WDW for the rides and shows that I know botter me).

Have always wanted to eat here (and dh would love the bottomless milkshakes) but the worries about the noise have keept me away.
