Whispering Canyon vs Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

hello all! Next Thanksgiving my family and I (DH, DS 6, and DD 4) will be at WDW and we will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge. On Thanksgiving Day, we wanted to have a relaxing day at the resort and were planning on having dinner close by. Which would you recommend, Whispering Canyon or Mickey's Backyard BBQ? Thanks!!

The food is better at Whispering Canyon but the service is always slow. The kids will like Mickey's BBQ. Lots of character interaction for the kids just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there.
