Whispering Canyon...Thoughts?

No problem! I love, love, love it when i'm able to help! These boards are what made my first two trips to WDW so incredibly magical. The tips, pictures, and help in building my itinerary are what helped us choose the right places to eat, miss the lines, and to know what to look out for. I hope your trip is just as wonderful!

We were just at WC on April 19th. It was our favorite meal of the entire trip! (And we ate at Sci-Fi, & Le Cellier too)

The entertainment was great, the servers were hysterical, the skillet was amazing!!

It is definately on our "must return" list!

Will Whispering Canyon let a couple "split" the skillet? :confused3

No; if you both want it, you both have to order and pay for it and they give you enough food for the both of you (and, of course, bring you more if you want it).

we are going to try wcc this year too. dd will be 6 and loves to be the center of attention. of course, i'm a little concerned about all the negative reviews, but it seems that every restaurant i consider has negative reviews. so confusing!

Thanks for the awesome pics Laura...we will be trying it for the first time this fall! Hopefully, we will love it!

We tried WCC last year for dinner and had a horrible dinner. The food in the skillet, to us, was dry. Friends of our also ate there at the same time and had the chicken with pasta and vegetables. They loved it. You can't judge one meal. So, we are trying WCC again, but for breakfast this time. We'll give it another shot. Why not? Everyone and every restaurant can have a bad day.

Try to engage your server in as much conversation as possible. I think one thing that happens at WCC is that people aren't prepared for the environment and are overwhelmed by it, then their server spends less time with them, which adds to their frustration. I think DD will love it.

It is a must do on trips, sometimes more than once. They have the best rib-eye steak. I always ask for corn on the cob instead of the seasonal greens. And their Kahlua Chocolate cake is to die for. We usually book for later in the evening so it is a bit quieter.

what is the ketchup thing everyone is talking about? i have resses for october and have thought about the skillet as it looks like it hasd stuff i like. i take it that it comes on a plater and you put what you want on to your own plate?
also, is this library a seperate room or is it a side section of the main room?
