Whispering Canyon Skillet...DDP?

Just wondering if you can get the country skillet at Whispering Canyon using your table service DDP credits.

You can, and it is delicious! If you're someone who likes a plate filled with different kinds of meat it is the meal for you.

No...QSDP means Quick Service not Table Service. Whispering Canyon is a Table Service restaurant and you cannot use a Quick Service credit there.

No, Quick Service (or Counter Service) is like McDonald's - you go up to the counter, order, find your own table and take your food to the table.

The QSDP does not include any table service restaurants. The closest would be a place where you order at the counter, but you're given a number and a server delivers your food.

Ok, good to know. I read on another board that it was included in QSDP. Pepper Market is semi- table service (tip) and included in QS, so I didn't question it. glad I asked! lol. We'll probably do Pepper Market again, though. it was really good.

Please tell me more on this milkshake. You can order the milkshake as your drink and still get the dessert on the DP. Only reason I am asking is that I do not know if one of my teen's will eat much of the meal. We are doing this as more of an experiance and not for the food.

Yes you can order the milkshake as your drink and still order a dessert on DP. My husband did this. I understand about picky eaters as I have a picky teenager myself. She loved Whispering Canyon Cafe, but she chose not to eat the skillet. She ordered the BBQ chicken and asked that they not put any sauce on it. They also have a hamburger. Most teenagers will eat a burger.

Out of all the TS we did last week, including Chef Mickey and 1900 Park Fare, Whispering Canyon was our 2 grandkids' favorite meal! They loved the shakes, all of us loved the skillet. Plus we had a great server and had so much fun!!

I think you could actually order one for dessert too. Since the shakes aren't on the kids plan I may do this so the kids can get shakes too....I really can't see myself eating dessert too!

We ate there last week, and our server offered shakes to the kids as a drink option on the dining plan. They also got dessert.
