We try to go to Whispering Canyon at least once each trip. When we went last summer, the menu had changed and we felt the choices on the skillet meal were not as good. They added this not so great beef stew and took away the sausage and brisket-one of our favorites. We are hoping they've gone back to the some of the originals and eliminated that beef stew. Otherwise we won't be going back. :( Has anyone been there lately? Thanks.

@ Dec/02- smoked pork ribs, roasted pulled pork, herb garlic roasted chicken, pork sausage and beef stew, mixed greens with apple vinaigrette dressing, corn bread and biscuits, baked beans, roasted garlic potatoes, cole slaw and buttered corn.

We are going end of April-I can let you know then if that's not too late for you.

I just returned and the selections are still the same, with the icky beef stew. We don't touch it, and ask for more ribs, chicken and pulled pork. I also miss the brisket, but the pulled pork is just so much better!!!

Thanks so much. When we were there, they didn't even have the pulled pork. That would be a suitable replacement for the brisket. But they have to dump that beef stew. It's worse than what you get from a can. We did tell our server that at the time and she agreed!
We'll be there in June, so an April update would be great!! Thanks!!

We had dinner at WCC last week, and I was the only one that ordered the skillet dinner. The stew is really awful, all right, and the ribs were nothing to write home about either. But the pork, chicken and sausage were all good, and I had seconds.

My wife and 5YO grandaughter had burgers, and liked them. Our 9YO grandaughter - who claims she's a vegetarian - had macaroni and cheese that she liked. Then she swiped the ribs out of my skillet, which was OK with me.

We had a great time there, and it made a rainy night easier to handle. They got the men up and made us do a dopey dance. The kids thought that was the funniest thing they saw all week.

All of the food is great just make sure you ask for ketchup to put on it.;)
