Whispering Canyon Cafe ?

We are going to try WCC for the first time during our November trip. DH does not like antics and doesn't ever want to go back to 50's Primetime because of that, so I am glad to hear that I can request the quieter room. I've also read recently that they give you a card to put on your table that indicates if you want to play along or not, is that true?

It's a round piece the size of a coaster with one red and one green side, so you just set it on the table, either side up. Easy! (Fwiw, the antics are not over the top or embarrassing.)

We loved the food.

What can you tell me about Whispering Canyon Cafe?

We've never been the food looks good and the desserts even better. We're considering going for dinner. Does anyone have pic's of the desserts? Any opinions? I've read about the antics and while we're not a real "fun" group, we can deal with some crazy lol.

Also, the milkshakes I'm reading about - if you're on the DDP, can you order a milkshake as your drink (like at Sci-fi?)

TIA!

We ate there last Tuesday and it was fantastic, loved it!!

We were on the DDP - DS got the milkshake as his drink, but didn't finish the first one! I got some $12 fruity concoction with a light up ice cube in it, liked it enough to order a 2nd.

DH got the skillet and I got the steak - it was all good - my steak while a tad overcooked was still good.

The antics are FUNNY, or at least we thought so. We sat right up front and had our card on green. My DS5 still says "we need ketchup" in a loud bold voice! He did the hokey pokey, sang if you're happy and you know it and raced a wooden stick pony around the restaurant.

The food and adult beverages are good for the adults and the food & antics are good for the kids.

My DS was very pleased to get a traditional grilled cheese sandwich!

They actually sat us in the back and I requested to be moved up front so we could be in the action. I would call after you make your reservation and request the back and request again at the podium.

There is a round card on the table, red for don't want to play and green for do want to play.

It was more for the kids then the adults.

We went on our last trip and the skillet was excellent. Went to Three Broomsticks the next day at US and had essentially the same meal and it was gross.

My family loved! Wcc. The antics were fun and it was a nice change of pace from the character meals. We are going back there this year too. I'd recommend it.
