Whispering Canyon Cafe?

We have a lunch reservation booked for Whispering Canyon Cafe on New Years Day. Our morning will be spent at Hollywood Studios. We are staying onsite and will be using Disney transportation. Is our only option to take the bus from Hollywood Studios to Wilderness Lodge? How long does this normally take? I am trying to figure out what time we should leave the park for our reservation. TIA.

I'd give myself at least, bare minimum, 1 hour in travel time. (walking to HS exit to bus depot, wait for bus...)

I would agree with that above comment. The bus even if you get one right away will be making other stops as well. You could always go with a taxi.

An alternate would be take a boat to Epcot, then monorail to Transportation Ticket Center, then monorail to either MK or Contemporary and then boat over to Wilderness. Sounds like fun, but the bus would probably beat you there.

The bus is definitely the fastest way.

drquest's alternative route would be fun, but would likely take you a couple of hours.

I agree. Possibly even 90 minutes although I think that could be a stretch. Since it's all decorated for Christmas (I have heard it is breathtaking), it can't hurt to add on a little extra time for travel at the beginning, and use any extra time to just chill in the lobby and look at all of the decor.
