Just wondering how the Canyon Skillet (dinner) is at the WCC? Is it yummy? Got pix?

What's the best way to get there from Poly? Go to TTC and then bus over?

THANKS!

I think you can take the boat too.
We plan on eating there during our Sept trip.
The skillet sounds so good!!!

I prefer a steak to the skillet.

If you are staying at Poly I would go to MK via monorail or boat then boat to WL.

From the Poly you can monorail to MK or CR and take a boat. We did the opposite for Kona in 2006. Took the boat from WL to CR and the Mono to Poly. :)

WCC was fun, but the skillet we had was terrible. Dried out and cold food...I would try the restaurant again, but I would order off the menu next time.

The boat from TTC might be the quickest. Linda :)

Boat is from MK not TTC. If you are running late get the bus from MK resort buses. Its a lot quicker(less than 5 mins) 20 mins if you are taking the boat not to mention wait time. Though coming back take the boat the view is amazing. I love the banana dust bowl.

We really like the skillet. Here's one we had for two people:

They will bring you more of whatever you want.

We had it in December and it was very good!:cool1:

This was my dd's favorite restaurant and my dh and I loved it too. We really enjoyed the skillet, but we love that kind of food. Here's a picture of two of my dd's with the skillet and all of their ketchup!!:thumbsup2

Our favorite game plan when we head to WCC (every trip!! :lmao: ) Is for hubby to order the skillet and then I order something off the menu that we will both enjoy. We split my dinner and then both eat off the skillet ... which they refill with your favorites! Best of both worlds!! :thumbsup2

hmmm, that's a great idea bellazachmom. My dd's are all adults this year and will be charged adult meal prices (which we have to tip on). I may have to check the menu out and see what else looks good for us to share. Thanks for that tip!

The only thing we liked on the lunch skillet were the ribs. Everything else was either bland or greasy.

The skillet was just OK. Of course, we get great BBQ here in TX, so I went in with high expectations (that were not met.) The pork shoulder, in particular, was kind of nasty.

To get to WL, we took the monorail from Poly to MK, and then took the boat from MK to WL. No problems, and I think it took us about 1/2 hour total.

So you and hubby both order the skillet and then you order another meal too? Just curious as the skillet is charged per person. If you both eat off of it, you both have to pay for it. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you.
