We have made our ADR for Whispering Canyon Cafe for 8:40pm on the day we arrive in September. I have two questions: 1) It will be just me and my eight year old daughter...can I order the skillet and share with her, or do we need to order her something too? Also, is there dessert there? 2) I've read that the antics are pretty amusing but near the end of the night, not so much. Has anybody found this to be true? Are there certain area's we can request to sit in that will give us a good view of the action??
As far as our other ADRs go, can we go earlier in hopes that they can seat us earlier? Almost like flying stand-by? I'm not entirely sure how that works???
Also, since we're celebrating my daughters birthday, will any of the restaurants do anything special for her? I had thought about ordering a cake but she's the only one who would eat it, so it seems like a waste of money. The reservations we have are with WCC, Teppan Edo, Akershus, 1900 Park Fare for dinner, Sci-Fi Diner and O'hana. Are any of those more entertaining in how they "recognize" birthdays?
I appreciate all help.
